Replacing Moves
Trying to think outside the box to give narrator's more control over their game. Imagine a game where a player becomes intertwined in a story, and then does the dreaded 'disappearing trick', whether for valid reasons or not is irrelevant. Or revisions are requested, and that player leaves in a huff. It happens.
Editing that players post is not allowed due to IP. But, what if the move was replaced? The post in question, assuming the player was not active in the game, could be 'archived, and replaced by the narrator in order to keep the flow of the game in tact.
Weild analogy, but I work with a software called protools. It's an audio video type thing, but let's say I am working on a guitar track. I have someone come over record a solo, but I don't necessarily like it. I can create a new 'virtual' track and record a different one.
In theory, the moves could be the same. You don't touch the original poster's work, but the narrator can continue the game without a big blotch in it.
