Google Hangout Storium webcasting-
This is a promotional idea that your team could do yourselves, this this idea is aimed at short-story writing with one main goal and it will be a great way to show how they came is played out, it will also perhaps inspire those sitting on the fence thinking its too hard to play or not very fun. Also i think this could be turned into a monthly show format, where the community can suggest a scenario or even make one up in Storium for you guys to use. This might inspire the community to make their own webcasts which all the more will get word out about Storium. Read on...
Showcase Storium in real-time:
Another cool idea for a video is doing a Google-hangout video with either some of the creators of Storium or whatever. And play a fast game that would be more like a table top game. It might be Oceans Eleven thing where these specialists have to retrieve a briefcase from the top floor of a building. (Just so there is an achievable ending like a short story)
I think over time when people learn how to play Storium these kinds of videos will be popping up (I hope) The players would have to be writers who can think fast and type fast. Of course discussing the plot and what could happen could go on- while one writer writes his paragraph. It was fun in that table-top video to see them discuss their characters and motivations. So i think this could work for Storium too. These as i said would be short-stories only. This could be a tv show style monthly _fortnightly) thing that a group of writers with a guest narrator. Why not have a Storium YT channel just for this? I am sure it will inspire some who are sitting in the fence thinking, nah a dont have enough time for this or ive read the rules but i still dont get it etc...
Watch Wil Wheatons episode on Fiasco- and envision something sort of like this (but with Google Hangouts) since stories would be updated immediately i gather this can be done online.
