Tweak refresh cards or strengths and weaknesses
I've seen a couple of games now, and I think the strength and weakness card system needs to be tweaked. I understand your intention, but as stories adapt and take different directions, it's very difficult to use all your strength and weakness cards so you can refresh. If we started with maybe two or so traits for each or we can refresh sooner, that would help.
I will admit a lot of this falls on the narrator not setting up appropriate challenges, but the players need to have a way to work around an inexperienced or poor narrator so the game doesn't suffer too badly.
Starting card counts now vary according to the length of game specified; the narrator is also able to alter the card count in the game setup. These counts can also be altered during the course of the game.
