drop or remove assets from a character
Sometimes a character or player has to be retired. A lot of time they still have assets on them. This idea would allow the Narrator to retire a character - describe their sudden and inevitable death - then "drop" all the assets they have on them so players can no loot their corpse. A player, in addition, could also just "drop" an Asset card so it can be picked up by anyone and not handed off directly all the time.

Just as a suggestion as a workaround--if a character has to be retired, the narrator can re-add those assets in whatever amounts are proper (e.g. if a character has 3 "Strange Crystal" cards left when he retires, just place 3 new "Strange Crystal" cards for pickup).
