have a "marketplace" for narrators to recruit a "living" NPC to be part of the story, but acting on the Narrator's behalf.
I want to have NPC's that are not just my puppets as a narrator, but played by a real person, but they are acting on my behalf as a true "actor" in the story. They can show up as NPC's but would respond more authentically to other player's actions, etc.
1 voteNarrators can invite people to take part on the Looking for Group forum (https://storium.com/forums#/category/lfg) to join for a fixed period or for the rest of the game.

List comments made on your character, and allow to respond to comments.
I received a notification of a comment on my character, but am unable to see it on the website. I can read it in the email, but can't respond to it.
1 voteCharacter sheets will display comments made by the player and the narrator of the game. They can be accessed by going to the character profile page.

add a "change image" in the image area of a card.
I found out you could change the image on the card in the edit card area, but it might be more encouraging to have the edit in the "image" area of the card.

Multiple stacks.
The instructions mention putting in multiple stacks of the same card, but that functionality seems to be missing.

Get info on a story's world
I'm reading a couple of stories and I feel like the ability to get more info on just in what kind of worlds those story take place would improve the experience.
2 votesNarrators can use the Green Room to provide additional information about their story worlds if they wish.

Allow players to finish challenges when narrator "continue's a scene"
The players had addressed 2 of the 3 challenges in a scene, and I wanted to add a bit of narration to keep things moving. Continuing the scene blocks players from accessing the unfinished challenges from earlier in the scene.
I am also unable to reuse the same challenge, nor can I delete my addition to the scene, so that challenge must remain forever unfinished.
Ideally, there should be a way for the narrator to add narration mid-scene, or a way for players to finish challenges. Less optimally, at least add a warning to the narrator that continuing a scene…

More consistency in emphasis?
Sometimes asterisks or underlines work for italics. Other times they just show up in the text that way. Shouldn't they work the same way all the time?

Character completion progress bar should include card images
Since you can't edit card images after approval, it should be called out in the sidebar that it's an optional requirement.

Option to have characters start frozen
If the game is already started the narrator should have the option to start all new players as frozen, not allowing them to move until the narrator places them in the storyline.

"Optimal" Play
The great thing about storytelling games is that the lack of an official winner allows players to disassociate themselves from their characters and tell a better story, even if it ends up a tragedy. I'm guessing for most Storium players, that's the focus and they enjoy writing bad turns for their characters as much as triumphs.
That said, the game mechanics enable a player or group to "game the system" so a vast majority of challenges end as successes (or failures, in the case of a griefer). You unload all of your negative cards on a single challenge, throwing that…

include preview of chargen stuff for GMs prior to posting game
in the "get started/create a game" sequence, we should see a sample character sheet / see all the pregen options available for that world. for example, in my sample throwaway game "trip to the fair," I didn't see that the options for the characters - and the options chosen by the characters significantly determined elements of the plot that I didn't know existed. namely I just had in my head a stupid plot where people go to the fair, and then all of a sudden the first character sheet is submitted and there's all this stuff about a race (on…

Make games Private by default when you create them
Just my tinfoil hat guy talking. I think public games should be something you opt into, rather than out of.

Work on chat feature
(I'm only doing this because the site requested I give feedback.)
I was in the commentary on the side of my game, but my comment wouldn't post. After a few attempts, the site told me something went wrong, and requested I let support know what I was doing. My comment never posted.
