Allow Skipping Avatar Choice
It would be nice if we could skip selection of an avatar during character creation, if only because we might not have a picture to hand. Could there be some kind of default avatar for those who didn't pick a custom one?

I dislike this idea because you can always change the picture. Nothing takes me out of a game or makes me want to ignore it is if all the players have goofy or default avatars.
