I would also like a daily digest option, and it would be extra super great if I could opt certain things in and out of that. Each category of notification for each game/forum could just have three tick-boxes: Immediate Notification, Daily Digest, No Notification.

The ability to toggle email notifications by category (i.e. comments, moves, obstacle completion, narrator moves, new scenes) per game (and even per player) would be incredibly valuable. Right now, I am only involved in one game with a group that is fairly chatty in the comment box, but only gets through about two to three moves a day. I spend more time deleting (unhelpful) email notifications than I do playing this very awesome game.

I would also really like to be able to turn off the notifications for commentary updates, while still being able to get the "so-and-so has moved" updates for the same game. High volumes of commentary notifications are driving me nuts, but I don't want to pack everything into a daily digest - I'd like to see moves when they happen.

agreed, I've got a variety of game speeds in play at the moment, from hardcore to casual, and unfortunately my notifications are becoming almost unusable due to one or two games drowning out any sign of activity in the slower game. I'd love to be able to adjust email settings per game, or maybe have a set of tick boxes of notification types that should just be included in a daily digest, anything like that.

Also related changes to email. adjust for each game. as Storium grows, so will the notifications and emails, the ability to adjust and categorise, turning off specific games and elements within games will be very useful for happy user experience
