Delete characters/leave a story
The PLAYERS need to be able to delete their own character and also to leave a story. You need an option for that. Sometimes it doesn't work out and the player needs to be able to exit the story without waiting for the narrator to do it.

You can already do this. Click on your character portrait on the left side of the game, then click your character’s name to view your character sheet. At the top is “Retire” button. This will enable you to leave the game.

Storium is a collaborative storytelling platform, so the spirit of the game is that players are jointly contributing to a shared work. Character retirement makes it easy to exit a game if you need or want to, while minimizing the disruption to the remaining players. If you really want to delete your character from a game, that is supported for games that use the "Community" or "Creative Commons" license. You can request character deletion here:

I don't like the idea of "retiring" a character because then everyone still benefits from your writing. If you're leaving a game due to issues with the narrator, why should he benefit from your story and creativity?
