Character cloning
First let me say you have a great "game" here. I and my friends who are long time role players have had a blast so far. Thank you for coming up with this. I have a suggestion. Since most books of the type we read are in series, I am planning several books in this story. It would be nice if when a second book is in the series if you would have an option when players submit their characters they could choose from a character they have already made up.

...so that when we want to move a character from one story to another, we can, without having to recreate them entirely. Particularly when we begin "Chapter 2" of a previous story. Especially when we intend to use the exact same Strength, Weakness, and Goal cards...and create our own, with our own photos.

I like this because sometimes, I have characters in suspended stories who I really like and would like to be able to play elsewhere, but I can't--though I suppose it is possible to recreate one's loved character in a different game to a certain extent, especially if the same template is used.

Nice idea. That would also encourage narrators to conclude their stories (instead of just letting them peter out) in the hopes that the same players (& their characters) will be eager to return to a sequel.

The ability to move characters from one story to another. Writers invest a lot into a character so it would be nice to be able to take that character and move it to another story (with permission from the narrator of course). The story would benefit from some new "blood" in the story and it would feel like real life (people entering and exiting our lives with some core stable people).
The interesting thing (IMHO) about this is that if there were a feature that you could track a character through these stories (think of Dr. Who) you could follow the life of a character rather than a simple story. This would also allow backstories to become more relevant and textured. Furthermore, real "histories" would exist between characters.
This might also address the complaint that I am reading a lot of concerning the fact that people "leave" stories unannounced and the stories seem to die. This would allow a narrator to deal with the characters disappearance but also bring in another character easily.

A new game I joined was recently split because there were so many players, the narrator decided to clone the stories and run 2. It would have been nice to just export my character to the other story (or clone the game, with the players and then remove myself from the original).

Allow for characters to easily be re-used from game to game. For example, when creating a new character for a game, you could select from your cast of existing characters.
