don't automatically accept characters submitted by players who were sent invitations
Just because I want my friend to play my game, doesn't mean their initial character concept will be perfect for it. I realize you have the option to ask for revisions AFTER it's been automatically accepted, but I don't see any reason why invitees' submissions should be treated any differently from those submitted through open invitations. Particularly since people are now using the forums to advertise their games and sending invites to anyone who shows interest, which is basically the same as an open invitation. Also, it makes you look awfully flaky if players keep seeing that you've accepted their character and then asked for revisions on it and then accepted it and then asked for more revisions.

I think there should still be the option for an acceptance procedure when you invite players. You may want them to make revisions before you accept the character, instead of asking them to do so after they think they're character is ready to go.

Seems like the character approval/revision process is skipped for players who you invited directly/when open invites are off. Is this supposed to be how things work? It seems like you might still want to let narrators approve characters even if they know the people who will be joining the game.
