Add "active on" and "vacation" options to user profiles
I've come to the conclusion that saying in chat that I only log in on certain days of the week (in every game I join) is all well and good, but not only is the effort tediously redundant, but once that first scene is done, the information is left back there with it.
I propose a line be added to the user profiles that is something to the effect of "Active On:" and then auto-filled with what the user checks in their settings. They can select certain days of the week, or other encompassing options like "Daily" or "Flexible". I think the formal addition of this information on player profiles would be enormously beneficial to all, as it would be quick reference at any time of when to expect a player's activity.
On this same vein, I think it would be a good idea to employ a "vacation" or "hiatus" option to profiles. By this I mean it might replace the "Activity" line I proposed above, or maybe it would be additional, maybe as a banner under the account name. Anyway, what I'm thinking for this is a way for a player to project on their profile that they will be inactive. The vacation/hiatus setting could have the prompt to include a date of return and offer a checkbox for unknown or indefinite. Thus, on the profile view it would say something like "On hiatus until 4/9/15." This would, I think, be a very clean way for players to clearly project temporary or extended absences from Storium.
(If an activity-tracking mechanic gets added, too, it would be nice to see long-inactive player profiles be automatically given a little banner saying so. Like "Inactive since 12/23/14" which only shows up after someone doesn't log in for X amount of time straight. But that's another suggestion entirely.)
Users can now set ‘vacation mode’ through their profiles with an optional return date. When set, this displays an icon on all instances of their avatars (Narrator or player) and when clicked will display the return date so that absences can be more easily communicated. Thanks!

I'd prefer an auto generated post frequency and last logged in.. I know my activity changes, and it'd be nice if the system knows this to display it.
Something like
cwodtke
last log in 12/4
post frequency ~ every 3 days -

I can see it being easy enough to write in your bio when you are active, but the vacation indicator, as @Robert Mohr describes, would be an excellent idea!

I think this is a brilliant idea! Also, like @Robert Mohr said, it would be especially handy to have markers appear on a vacating player/narrators character avatar/game banner.

Yes!! In-game depiction of a player/character(s) on vacation/hiatus is brilliant.

This is a really good idea, especially the option of a vacation flag. It'd be neat if it actually maybe would also show a vacation mark on the player's character images in each game that player was in when the player set a vacation note, so that narrators/other players didn't have to go into the player's profile to check if the player was on vacation.
