Add differentiation editing move for "major" vs "minor" edits
It would be neat if there were two (mandatory) checkboxes to choose from when editing a move: One for "minor" edits and one for "major" edits.
That way, if you're going in to just fix typos, syntax, etc, you can check "minor" and no notification email will be sent out. And maybe not even put a notification in the sidebar, either.
On the other hand, if you named the wrong character in your move, or have an unfinished sentence you forgot to go back to before publishing, or you realized a continuity error too late-- then you could check the edit as "major" and have the notification go out so that the other players know that a relevant-to-their-interests change was made. Then that could go into the notification sidebar, too.

There is now a ‘minor edit’ tickbox that will suppress any notifications about the edit if selected. If it’s not the edit notification will go out to users as usual. Thanks!

This would be a great addition for people stuck in games with me. I habitually tweak my posts to make them flow better without actually altering the content of what was done or said, and in a larger post that people might have to re-read, it can make people get a wee bit frustrated.

I was actually coming to the forums just now to suggest exactly this. My idea was going to be adding a little tick mark to the margin so players know on which line of text the edit was made. As a narrator, I find that every time I see that dreaded "X edited their move!" email, I have to reread their whole move in case it was something major!

Sigh.
