"Retire" documentation?
What exactly does it mean to retire a character? What happens? I may be overlooking it in the docco.
Is the player kicked out, can they make a new character, can someone else take over?

Enable players to retire their characters
Sometimes stories die and you don't hear from the narrator for days on end. You think it's time to put that story behind you, but you can't leave it. It clogs up your home page and you can't do anything about it. I think players should be able to retire their own characters.
1 voteYou can now leave a game at any time. The button is found on your character sheet!

Multiple stacks of the same card
Right now, you have to duplicate cards to make multiples of a stack, but if I want to change that card, I have to change it on all of the copies. It seems like it'd be better to have the ability to make multiple stacks of the same card.
6 votesAssets can now be handed out in multiples; any edits done to the original will affect the duplicates.

Create a "Request a Retcon" feature or deeper edits
Posts sometimes come too quickly for revisions to be able to be made. In those cases where revisions need to be made to posts deeper in the scene than the last post, it could be useful to have a deeper retcon function there of some kind.
6 votesIn Gamma, narrators can edit their contributions at any time, and they can request player revisions in any part of the scene. Additionally, once a scene is completed anyone can freely edit their own contributions.

have the storyteller put an introductor setting on the create your character page
It would be easier to create a character with some context of the story's setting.
1 voteNarrators are now able to set introductory information in their game “Info for invitees and applicants” section.

Make it possible to change Challenge Points with a screen reader
At the moment, the control used to change the number of points a challenge requires is not accessible with a screen reader. It requires mouse clicks on unlabeled arrows in order to increase or decrease the value. Please consider changing this control to something more standard, such as a combo box or even an edit field, to allow blind players to fully enjoy narrating the game.
1 voteI believe this is fixed, but let us know if not!

Allow all players to see character details as they are submitted pre-game.
Players should be able to view details of other characters prior to the start of the game.
1 voteAll players are now able to see applications which have been submitted to a game on the Looking for Players page.

Allow characters to play more than 3 cards on a scene
This would be more of a setting in a scene, perhaps? I've got a game where each character gets a scene to themselves at the beginning. Setting up a more complicated objective for them is impossible. I understand the limit under most circumstances, but it might be nice to have this be flexible.
1 voteNarrators are now able to adjust the card limits on a scene by scene basis to allow players more or fewer cards than the default. Thanks.

let paying members nominate a non-paying narrator
Currently you can only run/DM/narrate a game if you're a paying backer, but you can invite people to play who haven't paid. If you could invite others to be your narrator, as long as there are paying members within the game, that would expand the available pool of narrators and ideas. So effectively the "owner" of the game would be a paying member, but they could play whatever role they wanted to within the game.
1 voteFree members can now narrate games for other members of any subscription level.

spell-check!
I accidentally misspelled alien as alein when I wrote my character's goal for Nova Prime Alpha. I cannot edit it, and now I keep looking at it and feeling stupid for my typo.
(I typed in the goal as custom because I wanted to have a custom picture like there was in the alpha. I really like that!)
3 votesIt’s not spell-check, but cards and bios are now able to be edited so typos can be fixed and art added or changed. Thanks.

Link to Games You Manage in Profile
I think there should also be a list of games you're narrating on your profile, with links just the same as the "Playing" category.

Better Page Support
I'm pretty sure y'all have probably already thought about/talked about this, but I mean hey it's a beta, might as well give feedback. Okay, so there are a few places wherein the pages themselves could be better designed to support players. A good example being when writing for a scene, some sort of alert to tell the player when another player has posted something, so that they don't finish what they're doing and have to change a lot of stuff to react to other players, would be really nice. I can't think of anything else immediately, but I hope even…
1 voteThere is now an alert that will notify any player on a page when new content has been posted. There is also a notification whenever a fellow player is writing a move, to hopefully avoid any posting conflicts. Thanks!

Allow for players to quit easier
The only way right now for a player to quit is to ask the Narrator to retire the character in commentary. It would be nice to just have a drop out button. Also any awarded assets should create a pool for the remaining players to take from.
1 voteYou can now leave a game at any time. The button is found on your character sheet!

message board
Is there a way I can suggest to other people about starting a different story. Like Lovecraftien??
1 voteThe ‘Looking for Group’ section of the forum is a great place to chat other players about games you are enthusiastic about. https://storium.com/forums#/category/lfg

Make asset cards permanent
When I created asset cards for my game, I expected that they would remain in my library for me to use multiple times. I was creating assets for my game, not for one scene. I used a couple of assets and went to find them again and realized I was going to need to recreate them, which is frustrating. I didn't even notice the "Dupicate" button but learned of its existence later. I'd like to be able to create a library of assets for my game and not have to create duplicates every time I want to place a stack…
1 voteAssets created by a narrator now remain in their card library for future use.

Make Comments Visible During Character Creation
We recently discovered that comments on the game are not visible from the character creation screens (you can get around this by finding the game and "reading" it instead of playing, but that is awkward).
The problem I had is some players had questions regarding the setting and character creation, so I wanted to address those in comments, but they still "couldn't" see them, so I ended up having to modify the game text. It would just be easier if comments were available always.
6 votesThis is fixed in Gamma!

Consider exporting one or two flagship games so they're visible without logging in
Allowing non-beta members to read one or two in-progress or completed games would provide something we can point interested people to, to encourage them to back the Kickstarter.
1 voteAll public games are now visible to everybody, including non-members. Thanks!

fix a typo on the growing your character page
Under the Refreshing your Strengths and Weaknesses header:
typo: "(including and Wild cards)"
fix: I assume it should be "(including any Wild cards)"
1 voteDoh, thanks! This will be fixed shortly. :)

Allow players to communicate to members
Allow players to communicate to members via their member page or in the story.
1 voteUsers can now contact one another via the Private Messaging system.

Add player/narrator commentary to characters
It would be nice if you could see and respond to the narrator's comments on your character during the submission and revision process, in a similar manner to the out of character commentary on scenes. It would be less cumbersome than the current system which largely relies on going through emails for a two-way conversation.
It would additionally be helpful to have these comments' visibility be toggleable, preferably with a default to private, so that the sometimes-embarrassing editing process need not be in the public eye.
6 votesIn Gamma each character has a private commentary track between the player and the narrator. It starts during character creation and remains available during gameplay!
