Show characters submitted to games
I'd like players submitted to games to be visible before they're accepted--that helped a lot of us tailor our characters to fit with the other ones; we were able to edit to make them a team instead of just random characters.
Possibly, submitted characters could be visible or not by narrator choice, but just having them hidden takes away one of the few collaborative abilities in game setup.
(Were there multiple requests to make those hidden? Why was that taken away?)

Submitted characters are now visible through the Green Room Character tab.

Sorry; I'd forgotten that that info is only on the character creation form--it disappears once the character has been accepted.
After that point, it's very difficult to find that link. (I had to track down the original "character creation" link, because open-for-applications has been turned off.) Is there a way the "review game info/characters" link could be made available under the "chat with narrator" textbox, instead of having to go through one's browser history to find the original character creation link?

@Elfwreck: We just went back and compared Gamma to Beta, and as far as we can see the behavior is exactly the same now as it is always been. That behavior is that:
- Submitted characters that are pending approval are not shown on the Cast list of on the game page (because they aren't yet part of the story).
- Submitted characters *are* shown on the page you see when you click "Apply to join." So, applicants can see the full list of characters (both approved and not-yet-approved) at the time that they elect to create a character and apply to join.
- Once an applicant has submitted their character, they can still refer to this list by clicking the "Review game info and existing characters..." link on the left side of the submission page.
Are you seeing something different from what I describe above? If so, could I trouble you for a screenshot? That would help us investigate further. You can send it to support@storium.com. Thanks!
(Regarding comment notifications, there should be an option on each topic to "follow this conversation" — clicking that should get you email notifications when the topic is updated or new comments are added.)

Both the games I've recently submitted characters for--one where I've been accepted, one where I'm still pending--only show the accepted characters, not the submitted ones.

Hmm, this was a bug and was reported by a couple of users just after launch. We fixed it a few days ago. Are you seeing this problem happening right now? If so, we may have not fully fixed it!
