I agree completely. Having some kind of wiki system (basic) would make capturing story specific items easily.

At the top of my list would be maps and diagrams. Where in the city are the characters? What deck of the ship are we on? Are we in the same sector on the outer rim right now or light years apart? Having a space for the narrator to host diagrams and maps is important.

Next on my list is the lingo. A dictionary of common terms is important. In this sci fi epic are we using gravjets or pulsar turbines or infinity drives or a heart of gold? What do we call drugs in this cyberpunk drama...sim? stims? rocks? lava? it would be great if there was a dictionary / wiki to host those common terms for all the players to reference.

Next - a list of NPCs the characters have interacted or heard about. I don't want to have to go back and reread everything because I can't remember one NPCs name. I just need a quick reference so that I'm not completely pulled out of the writing.

I'm sure there are many more things that a wiki would address. It doesn't even have to be in the standard/well-known wiki form. A simple quick reference page would be awesome.

Thanks for the suggestion! We are planning to do this! It will probably happen around the time of our Kickstarter campaign, sooner if we can manage. There will be wiki-like pages for both narrators and for players. Pre-built Storium worlds will come with “canon” content for both pages, and then participants will be able to add to them. Sound good?

I would suggest it go one step further to have a section for created canon...specific words, maps, images, NPCs we've met, etc. that can be quick referenced by the players without having to go back and re-read every scene to ensure they are on topic and using the correct references.

As an addition, I see many feedback suggestions about having an export function to allow for a compilation of the story. This seems to be a logical and natural progression of what I'm suggesting for the site. It looks like many people would enjoy the benefits of having the means to compile, export, and read their stories - both during their creation and upon completion of their games.
