Add a button for submitting comments, instead of using Enter
I find it too easy to submit before I intend to, when I am just used to putting in a line break.
7 votesComments now have a ‘comment’ button and do not submit via the enter key.

Recognition/Rewards/Trophy badges for contributing to stories
Provide some way of recognising the contributionof players, maybe with little "trophy badges" on their avatars/profiles, e.g.
"achieved X goals"
"narrated X games"
"played X cards"
"Contributed X words"
"Completed X stories"
etc1 votePlayers can now earn Achievements which are listed on their profiles. These track goals such as games completed, words written and other Storium-related accomplishments.

Allow "take-backs"
It'd be cool if a player could undo a move at the request of another player. Say, Alice writes a move and Bob says, "Alice, could you not close it out? I've got a great idea I want to bring in." Or for Eve to say, "Alice, that card doesn't quite fit for my backstory, could you try a different one?"
27 votesNarrators are able to request revisions on any move within a scene, and the most recent move is editable without narrator request. Thanks!

In Gamma, narrators can edit cards at any time, even if they’ve been given to players. Players can edit any card they themselves created.

Allow private revision requests (or make it clear that revision requests are public)
I made a revision request as narrator, thinking it would be a private message to the player. Only once it was posted did I see that it was visible to everyone in the game instead. I had been hoping to work out a potential issue privately with a player, but now everything's been posted for all the players to see and there's no way to delete it.
11 votesWhen requesting revisions, narrators can now choose for those revisions to be private, in which case only the intended player can see them.

Put character names in the title
I'd like to put other characters in separate browser tabs. Unfortunately, all tabs only contain the text "Storium". It would be great if the title of the web page (in the <title> tag) could be more specific, e.g. "Character Name | Story Name | Storium"
2 votesTabs now read ‘Storium — Game Name’ or ‘Storium — Character Name’.

Game speed and visibility
These two settings only show from the create a character page, not from the browse games page. It would be much more helpful to know game speed and visibility while browsing games to see which one you might try to join, than to not find out until you are at the create a character page for review.
1 voteGames can now be filtered by game speed preferences. Thanks!

Expanded profile (game-i-fied)?
So, the first major problem I've encountered here is the same that blights forum rp. People get bored, and drift off, and the story remains unfinished. Those still keen on the game are left behind, and eventually drift off themselves when important characters disappear overnight.
I hope that storium finds someway to incentivise players and especially narrators sticking around. Perhaps adding a system of 'expierience points', perhaps a level system, some rudementary rewards and unlocks, like unique profile decoration and such. Expierience points could be gained by completing storiums, or getting to a certain number of posts, things like that.…
1 voteProfiles now list a players Storium Achievements, which include tiered categories such as games completed, words written and a host of other achievements. Thanks!

Narrators are now prompted to give feedback to users whose characters they decline. Thanks.

Make it so that the narrator or the move's writer can delete moves
I had a need for someone in my game to not make any moves for a couple of scenes, so I wrote a comment asking them to sit it out of a second. They didn't notice the comment and made a move. Now we can't delete the move, could you make it so that a narrator or the move's writer can delete moves that need to be removed?
14 votesThe most recent move in a scene can be edited or deleted completely.

Allow narrators to delete or alter player Cards.
We had a situation in which I had taken a subplot card that was already taken by another player. Our narrator had intended for us each to have different subplot cards, but there was no way for me or the narrator to delete or edit the card once the character had been made.
8 votesThis should be improved in Gamma. Narrators can edit cards at any time, even if players are holding them.

Fix typos after someone else posts
Sometimes, during a scene after another player makes a post, I'll notice a typo I missed in one of my earlier posts.
I'd like to be able to fix these typos.
To prevent abuse, other players could be able to veto/reject the correction.
3 votesIn Gamma, you can freely edit your text after a scene is completed. This is great for fixing typos, clarifying what you wrote, etc.

Make the various games searchable by title. Also, to be able to link to the actual game from the 'Looking for Players' page
If I'm signing up for a game which is looking for new players, but has already begun, I would sure like to be able to click over and read what's been played so far.
Currently, I have to scroll through dozens or more games sorted only by 'favorites' to find the actual game play on the game I'm interested in. This is tedious and time consuming.
1 voteGames in progress on the Looking for Players page now invite users to ‘Learn More’ (apply) or ‘Read’ (read the game) so that potential applicants can read the game to its current point.

Cloning a game should copy ALL cards
I just cloned my game and it copied over the current state of the game -- but I was expecting it to "refund" the cards that I'd given out to players already and return them to the stack of cards I could play.
Assets and goals are what I'm talking about here. I'd given some out and I was hoping I'd get them back when I cloned the game. No go though.
1 voteCloning now copies all cards that exist at the time of cloning, including goals and assets. Thanks!

This is fun.
I have a couple gamers from all over the country in my game. I've played with them all, but they've mostly never met.
And I have to say, this has been fun so far.
It feels like the story is coming together a bit like a game of Fiasco!; with a little fewer fiascos.
1 voteVery glad you are enjoying Storium! Thanks for playing!

Fix the mispelling on the log in page.
I apologize for being nitpicky! But I notice that you mispelled 'access' as 'acess' on the log in page. Noticed that it's been there a while so I thought I'd say something!
"We’re crowdfunding!
Just $10 gets you instant acess to our Beta and helps bring Storium to the world."
Regardless, amazing game!
1 voteOMG. Facepalm. Thank you for pointing this out, we’ll have it fixed shortly!

Keep my character submissions
I don't like that I can't find my previous character submissions. Whether they were accepted or not it would be kind of nice to reference the characters I've created in the past.
1 voteCharacter submissions that are not accepted into games are available to the player at the bottom of the home page. Thanks!

Allow Players to update images for their cards
I think it might be nice for Players to be able to add or update images to their cards throughout the game. Instances where this might be useful could include:
- Narrator didn't add images to the cards available to Players (such as at character creation or Assets or Goals during play)
- Player gets better insight into their Character and wishes to alter their cards' images to better portray the Player's intentionPerhaps the Narrator can accept/reject all image change requests or just on those cards the Narrator has created.
4 votesPlayers are able to edit cards throughout the games, including adding or changing pictures. The only restriction is narrator-created cards, but players can copy the text and create a new card if they wish to edit the picture. Thanks.
