Allow for some kind of bullying/commentary report
Unfortunately, I just had a very bad experience in two games with a narrator where a fellow player was bullied in the side posts/comments. It was very uncomfortable and took away from my enjoyment of the game. When I tried to gracefully leave, I was verbally attacked and bullied. I'd like some way to report these kinds of actions so that the offending party could be warned, with subsequent occurrences resulting in their suspension from usage. It really makes a fun and collaborative experience tense and painful.
A full Code of Conduct (including methods for reporting behaviour which violates the CoC) is available here: https://storium.com/conduct
If you witness or experience behavior that violates either this Code of Conduct or our Terms of Service, you are encouraged to report it to the Storium team. You can do this in two ways:
Click the “report” link, found in a number of locations across the site. This opens a box that lets you list your specific concern(s). A detailed report is then sent directly to the Storium team.
Send email to “report@storium.com.” Please include as much information as possible, including the user name of the party in question and all relevant information and correspondence regarding your concerns.
We hope that Storium remains a positive and welcoming place for all but if you do witness any inappropriate behaviour the Community Manager is here to help deal with and hopefully resolve any issues that arise.

Sad to say it, but I expect instances like the one reported here will only increase once Storium is open to the wider public. Some sort of mechanism for reporting disreputable behavior is definitely called for.

That's terrible, I'm sorry. :( We are going to create a guide for proper etiquette and behavior, but we also have to do something about this problem more directly. Some sort of reporting mechanism seems like a good start.
I'll also note that very soon we are going to replace the current "open invitation" system with something else. We suspect that the way it works today has been encouraging this sort of behavior, since narrators and players don't really get the chance to converse and reach an understanding before deciding to play together.

I wasn't even in the games, but watched the bullying/attacking, and it almost makes me want some sort of downvote to go with the "favoriting" so there's some sort of indication for new players looking through a narrator's list of games that something went wrong here.
Currently, the narrator in question is announcing their intent to hide the game in which some of the worst happened -- specifically so people won't see it -- which will make it very hard for someone new to find the red flags even if they're trying to do pre-application due diligence. -

I've witnessed this same narrator/player bully and verbally attack at least three players and myself. One player actually withdrew from Storium altogether -- and stopped responding to any messages. While withdrawing is a useful feature -- and I'm very grateful that I have the option to use it -- it would be great if there were some way to prevent this from happening to others within the context of Storium. (Especially others whose first experience is participating in a game where they're bullied.

Thanks, Stephen. The self-retire feature is nice and I appreciate your concern.
