Adding or removing characters and players mid-game
I'd like to be able to add new players/ characters mid game or even remove players/ characters. Ideally, the players and characters could be added or deleted independently. For example, I'd like to be able to have my friend Bob join the game and take over a character because a player has to drop out. This could prevent games from shutting down due to player dropout or lack of posting.
I've been playing pbp gems for years and it's common for players to play half a game then drop out. Storium doesn't have a way to handle that.

In Gamma you can both retire existing characters and add new ones at any time during gameplay. This includes players controlling more than one character, and even narrators having characters of their own.

I'm hoping this is added sooner rather than later. New characters should be able to be introduced by players who have had their character die.

I think this is a great idea. I am waiting on one friend to create their character so that the rest of us can start a game. If I could start and then she could join in when-ever she's ready at where-ever we are, that would be superb!
