Make it possible to manage favorites.
I would like to remove a game from my Favorites. Is there a way?
1 votePlayers can unfavourite a game by navigating to the game banner and unclicking the yellow star.

Make it easier for a narrator to get to a character review page
When I started a new game, I noticed I could only reach the character review pages for newly created characters from either the email link or via the side bar. It would be handy to have a review link on the character card before the 1st scene starts in a newly created game, so I don't have to look for a link to the review page.
1 voteCharacter profile links are now all listed in the character tab in the Green Room for easy navigation.

correct a typographical error.
In "Narrator - Managing Play," you say:
"Once all the scene’s challenges have been overcome, the scene can be ended. Ending a scene prohibits any further moves by players, as well as an continuations of the scene by the narrator."
It should be "...as well as any continuations of the scene...."
1 voteWhoops! This will be fixed shortly; thank you for noticing it.

let us see other starting cards during a game.
It might be nice to go back and look at other cards for nature, strengths and weaknesses.
1 voteAll narrator-provided cards are available for perusal when a player is creating a wild card in-game. Thanks!

NPC cards
I think non-player Characters should be able to have cards too. Both because it will help define their personalities more clearly (in ways that aren't visible to the players!) and because then they could more actively assist or oppose actions in a scene. Helpful-NPC can provide a card to help overcome a challenge, while Antagonist-NPC can do things that would detract from their efforts (perhaps subtracting from their total, or aiming towards their own goal).
3 votesNarrators are now able to create characters they can control and use to play into challenges.

Tweak refresh cards or strengths and weaknesses
I've seen a couple of games now, and I think the strength and weakness card system needs to be tweaked. I understand your intention, but as stories adapt and take different directions, it's very difficult to use all your strength and weakness cards so you can refresh. If we started with maybe two or so traits for each or we can refresh sooner, that would help.
I will admit a lot of this falls on the narrator not setting up appropriate challenges, but the players need to have a way to work around an inexperienced or poor narrator so the…
1 voteStarting card counts now vary according to the length of game specified; the narrator is also able to alter the card count in the game setup. These counts can also be altered during the course of the game.

implement a vacation flag
This would let players notify other players and the narrator that they are going to be away from a game for "an extended period of time." How that gets handled in the context of a game would be up to the other players and the narrator.
1 votePlayers are now able to set themselves ‘on vacation’ with an time frame so fellow players/narrators are able to see at a glance if they are away form Storium. Thanks!

Allow people to leave games
There should be a way for you to leave a game that is in-progress (if you decide that you are no longer interested in it or something).
(If there is already a way to do that, you should put that under the "How To Play" section. It's kind of important)3 votesYou can now leave a game at any time. The button is found on your character sheet!

Allow narrators to delete moves.
Players or narrators may need to delete moves to keep the story correct, and looking consistent. Deleting moves should be possible.
1 voteMoves can now be deleted by the player if they are the most recent content on the page. They are not auto-saved so if you wish to reuse the content make sure to manually save it. Narrators cannot delete other people’s content as per the license agreements.

allow people who have approved characters look at characters that are pending approval.
There doesn't seem to be any way for one to see characters that are still awaiting narrator approval once your own character has been approved for a game.
1 voteApproved players can view the Green Room and see pending applications in the ‘character’ tab.

Allow more flexibility in editing
I get not wanting to allow changes to the story that has already happened, but people should be able to edit their characters (to change cards, for instance, not just description) before they have begun to play, or to delete a post before someone has responded to it. And I think an editing function should at least be available to the Narrator, if someone realizes belatedly that they said 'Joe' when they meant 'Jim' in a post and it's going to cause all sorts of confusion.
3 votesPlayers can now edit the characters and cards at any point. Players can edit posts in active scenes with a Revision Request, and they can edit completed scenes without narrator intervention.

Make it Easier to Leave a Game
I don't see a way to leave a game. Am I missing something?
1 voteClick on your character, go to your full-page character sheet, and you should see a button that will allow you to leave the game!

Keep comments from creation visible to narrator and player
When a character has to be edited - and even when they don't - it'd be super helpful to keep any comments to the narrator and from the narrator to the player visible to the player. The emails are great, but I almost missed some parting comments from a narrator on a character of mine because the back-and-forth is no longer visible. Thanks!
1 voteComments between a player and a narrator on a character application/bio are now saved from the very beginning. Thanks!

change character
The narrator wanted me to change my character or switch character types (roles). The only way I could see to do that was to cancel my character and start anew, but this theoretically means someone else could take the other character slot, no? It would help to be able to backout your character choices after comments from the narrator.
1 voteWhen Narrators request changes players are able to change their Nature card (or any other chosen card).

Show game's pitch in the preview
While choosing the game I'd like to see its main features at once, even before reading full description.
So it would be nice to have some system of tags, or genres, or make narrators write very short descriptions of their games.
Thank you.2 votesNarrators now have the option of including a pitch on the Looking for Players page.

General rules section
This more towards narrator section where they can determine basic layouts of the game. In other words, how the game will be described back to the narrator (such as 3rd person). Whether winner of phase has only weigh in, or a modification that would allow first to take down to be only char narrate. Other features like this to help a narrator keep the game in the fashion they desire. Also not being a narrator, there could possible be a narrator response to the actions per char playing the action, in order to demonstrate failures wtihin it that wouldn't require…
1 voteThe Green Room allows the narrator to set basic rules and expectations for their game for all applicants.

A scene can start as long as there is at least one character in the game. Further characters can join after a game has begun.

make formatting easier.
Granted, I've only been on Storium for a day, but I'm having difficulty with manipulating the text. I realize it's not necessary, but I'd like it to be easy to italicize sections and do other things. I've looked around, but I haven't found anything that serves as a key for the text.
1 voteJust below the area where you type scenes and moves, there’s a link that reads “formatting help” — if you click/tap it you should see some simple tips for how to to italics, bolding (and, if you’re a narrator, more).

A quick AFK tag for your account
It would be good to have a tag and status line you could put against your account to let everyone know you were away for an extended period and probably not able to post. I say this on my way back from an international trip for work and, whilst it worked out that I could post fairly regularly, it would have been handy not to have to put comments in every game I was playing to let folks know I might be a bit slower than normal in responses.
2 votesUsers are now able to set ‘vacation mode’, including their expected return date. This will display on their profiles and in any games they are playing/narrating. Thanks!

Make a place to store characters
Characters are now 'deleted' when your application is rejected, it would be nice if you could save them somewhere on this site so you could reuse ideas/names, personalities and backgrounds
1 voteCharacters that are not accepted for games are now accessible to the player at the bottom of their home page. Thanks!
