Online/Offline Button
I think it'd be really beneficial for there to be an online/offline button on everyone's profile. It would be great for people who're waiting on someone to make a move, as they would know when they're online. You could make yourself invisible too, if you valued privacy, and no one would know if you were online or offline.
2 votesPlayer profiles now state when they were last logged onto Storium. Game pages will also display whenever a player is currently viewing that page.

fix card backs.
Clicking on the arrow to see a card's back can sometimes have unpredictable results, redirecting you to the top of the page and so forth.
There are also occasions when the additional text on a Challenge card's back does not carry over to later instances of the card in the same scene.
1 voteThis issue should be resolved – if it occurs again please let us know!

Add Game/Story Name to Page Title
When you have multiple tabs open with different stories, seeing just "Storium" as the page title doesn't help you switch to the one you want. But if you could have it say "Storium: <Game Name>" in the title, it could make switching between tabs easier.
2 votesTabs now read “Storium — Game Name”.

let narrators give character feedback after approval
As players can edit their character descriptions at any time, it would be nice if narrators could give feedback on those changes.
3 votesIn Gamma there is now a private commentary thread on every character sheet, where the narrator and the player can converse.

Use stretch goals for system features and not more worlds
I can create my own worlds, but I cannot create additional function to the site. I would rather see funds being used to expand the capability of Storium rather than adding more worlds/writers.
1 voteThanks for the feedback! We have more feature-oriented goals coming soon!

During character creation, list current character names
While a direct way to get a 'pop up' of other characters would be nice, even a listing of current character names might help from having name collision.
1 voteAll submitted applications are now visible in the Green Room so that users can see character names.

allow players to save a character draft
In case you can't finish a character at the time, it would be nice to have the option to save it, unsubmitted, until you can finish :)

Allow a way for prospective players to email the narrators
I have crearted two characters for two games, but haven't heard anything back from the narrator. I don't know if my characters have been approved, rejected, reviewed? No emails, I'm in stasis.
If my character has been rejected, it'd be nice to be notified.
1 voteUsers can now contact potential narrators via the Private Messaging system. They may also have the option of using the Open Lobby if it has been turned on by the narrator.
Game rejections will always notify the user with an email.

Add more control over dropping multiple card stacks
So, when I drop a card, it vanishes from the inventory, and if I want to drop another one I have to create another one. That's understandable for something like Goals, where you don't want everyone to have the same goal or they'll all be playing it all the time. But for generic items like MREs or concert tickets, if you want everyone to be able to pick one up, it would be good to have a selector for how many stacks to make at the same time as for how many items are in each stack.
1 voteGoals and Assets now remain within a narrator’s card library after creation and use so they are able to give them out at any time in the future. Thanks!

Notifications in the story as well as the main page
I'd love to get a real-time, dynamically updated Notifications panel on every single page, so I don't have to keep going back to the main page a hitting reload to see if anything has happened.
2 votesGames will now alert any players on the page of new content.

Review Character options
Please include an additional means to contact someone if they haven't responded to a Review Character request. Can you poke them? Can you withdraw the Review? Can you approve them anyway? At this point if the person never responds, my options are to kick her out or wait.
1 voteNarrators can now contact players via the Private Messaging system to encourage them to respond to requests.

Make the banner for the stories editable
I don't know if I'm missing something (at which point my suggestion would be that you make this clearer with an "edit image" button or something), but it doesn't look like I can swap out a banner for my story once I've put one in. Can we make that an option, please? Thanks!
1 voteYep, just go back to the game management page (click the “wrench” icon) and look for your banner. Overlaid on the upper-right corner are buttons to remove (and replace) the image, adjust its cropping, and add attribution if needed.

add some extra links to the top for eased navigation
Basically, you have "Home" in the drop down menu, and I would suggest you simply move it to not have an extra click in the drop down menu. Just quick thing, but I've been here for about half an hour and I can tell it's going to be an annoying thing.
1 voteUsers are able to return to their home page at any point by clicking the Storium logo on the top of page banner. Thanks for the suggestion!

Give clearer messages when stories are withdrawn/deleted during character creation
This is probably only an issue because people are getting over-excited after joining via Kickstarter, but I started creating a Character only for the Narrator to delete the story before I had finished (since it takes time to source a photo and write descriptions). The error messages when I clicked "Create" were vague, along the lines of "There was a problem, why not try again".
I suggest that you detect that specific issue (parent story has been deleted/closed) to give more accurate feedback to users. You could even monitor the state of the story with a background Ajax request, and…
3 votesNarrator can no longer delete games outright. Instead, they can “suspend” them, in which case the game is halted but nothing is deleted or removed. This means that if you are trying to apply to a game, your character won’t be deleted out from under you anymore. Moving forward, we’re working on changes to the open invitation system to make things smoother for everyone!

Card Image Bug?
I added images to my game's strength/weakness cards after a couple of players made their characters. Because of that, their cards lack the images I added. It isn't game breaking, but it would be nice if the changes I made applied to all instances of a card.
6 votesThis is fixed in Gamma!

Story Entries and Word Limits
The word limit right now is too confining. I agree that players shouldn't be able to write pages, but it can be a little difficult to be both descriptive and yet attend to the scene, obstacle, character, etc.
1 voteThanks for the feedback! Word limits are actually now customizable by the narrator. The option is found on the game management page. The narrator can customize the limits or disable them entirely.

The page should note if someone is editing or adding a post, also it should auto refresh.
When someone is talking or posting then there should be a note on the page (it will help with the edits) indicating that someone is making an edit, and who is making the edit. Then after said edit is made, anyone on the page should get a refresh.
1 voteGame pages now autorefresh and note which players are present on the page and whether they are writing a post. Players are prompted to refresh whenever new content is posted. Thanks!

Collaborative Character Creation
Character Creation is a very individual process at this point. When you're sitting around the table you bounce ideas off each other, form relationships, and pick out niches as a group. Here the narrator has to police all that to get a similar result. And after all the characters are written, the narrator has to request a revision in order for the players to edit.
If there was one screen with commentary that showed details of all the characters the group could collaborate. Also some means to keep the characters editable until the narrator moves them to final state.
7 votesUsers can use the game Lobby to discuss character concepts with the other applicants and narrator to build relationships and solidify ideas. The narrator can then send out invites to interested users.

View roster etc as wel as applying
I've been going through the list of groups looking for players, but it might be nice to look at the details without actually applying...
1 votePotential applicants can see the Green Room including current applications and a discussion Lobby. Thanks!

Settings button in the story for the narrator
Can we keep the settings button for the narrator on the headline image on the story pages, too, so we have a shortcut to that rather than having to go to the main page to make changes? Thanks!
1 voteNarrators are now able to go to the Green Room directly from the story page using the tabs in the upper left corner of the page. Thanks!
