Add an Inactive Category for Cast
Our longtime game has had some retired characters but some people drift off for for long periods. I don't want to retire them without their request but would like to sideline them so they aren't cluttering the active list of cast members. It could also move them out of the activity summary.

Secret card
A card that narrator can give to one player or more without anyone seeing it or knowing about it.
It will create a “Game of Throne” kind a story
Example: Josh saw Gerard drinking blood from a man they just killed.
1. The narrator can give the card to Josh character and Gerard character, they both know that the other one know about it and it create a “cat mouse” relationship between the two, Gerard can't do much about it and need to be careful with his approach to Josh and Josh can use it to his advantage.

Stop using x/x/x time formatting for dates
The x/x/x thing is unhelpful if you don't know the formatting, as there's no real way to tell whether it means day/month/year or month/day/year.
I would rather it just say 12th September 2015 for example, rather than 09/12/15 and have that confuse everyone.

Ability to view 'X most recent moves' of a specific player
It'd be useful to have an option from a person's profile to view 'X most recent moves' (5, 10, variable) in order to get a sense of how that person writes and how frequently they make moves. Yes, we could just add them as a favorite and try to sift through our overall list for what the specific person has done, but this is time-consuming and imperfect.
This function could probably be linked in with plans for an upcoming search function (basically a one-button 'search for moves by this player' tool).

Shuffling Deck
Greetings,
I would like to propose tbe idea of shuffling decks. Shuffling the cards and bring new and innovate twists to stories and provide a challenge for the players and Narrator in creating far more interesting outcomes.
The amount of cards drawn per challenge could be a limit left to the desire of the Narrator (or the group as a whole). As well as bonuses could be bestowed to cards played which aid the players (such as playing a strength card which adds an extra card to your hand, playing a weakness which allows you to reshuffle a card in…

Allow stories that don't use the card mechanics
I frequently play games that would benefit from Storium's scene and move support, but they already have their own mechanics.
It would of course be possible to have the players GM ignore Storium mechanics except as necessary to manage scenes, but it would be nice to not have to bother.

Notifications, Part Two
And the option doesn't even seem to exist to turn off the annoying "you should invite people to play in your game now" email.

Optimize site for mobile - meta viewport tag NEEDED
Please include a meta viewport tag in your site at the very least. It seems like you use angular, and I'm sure there are useful plugins to make transition to mobile easier (such as http://mobileangularui.com/). Most people nowadays use mobile, tablet, and touch devices, and website design has now switched to a mobile-first approach. I think the loads of new game features and content can wait and that you guys should focus on a mobile design foremost. I myself am a web designer focusing on mobile-first approaches and have even looked into angular. I will be happy to help…

Have separate sections for Narrator and Player Play Preferences
The addition of play preferences to profiles is great, but it would be more useful we could separate "how we run games as narrators" from "what games we're willing to play."
For example, as a narrator I pretty much always run as a single narrator with custom house rules and a flexible collaboration style. On the other hand, as a player, I'm completely to open to trying games with rotating narrators, or that emphasize character and plot over gameplay (or vice versa), and with various collaboration styles.
So I'd like to have the option to say "This is how I…

Window Expansion Bug
I was expanding a text window, and when it goes over the comments the text from the window and that of the comments combine making it impossible to read the text where there is an overlap. So far everything else as worked like a charm.

Rename "vacation mode" to something clearer
The new vacation mode bugs me because vacation isn't a word here in the UK and it doesn't apply to every away situation.
Renaming it to something such as Active mode would make much more sense.

Separate profile records for suspensions of played games and narrated games
Currently, so far as I can tell, the count of suspended games in a player's profile contains all games that they were narrating and suspended, and all games that they were playing in that the narrator suspended.
I think it would be nice to separate those. That way, a person who has never narrated before but who has been in a few suspended games doesn't look like he, as a narrator, has suspended a lot of games. The current record could pretty easily be misunderstood, leading people to potentially avoid a narrator who hasn't actually suspended anything because it…

Please make it more mobile friendly!
I check my games on my Android phone and sometimes the text is too small to read on my screen, but there is no way to make the text larger and it won't rotate sho I can try to make out bigger that way. Needles to say, it makes it very difficult to tap on links in the drop-down menu. Please fix!
Thanks!

Emoji Reactions?
I've been using Slack and for each message, anyone can post a little "reaction" (in the form of an emoji). I'm not sure it completely fits, but I think something like it might work well for Storium-- so if someone posts a passage that others think is cool/great/thumbs-up/OMG, etc., they can sort of make their feelings known. In case you're not already familiar with Slack, there's a link that describes the Reactions specifically here: https://slack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/206870317-Emoji-reactions
Keep up the awesome, amazing work, guys! We're loving the game. :)1 vote -
Splitting a game into two
I've heard through the grapevine that a "sequel" feature is being planned that will allow players to carry over their characters as they are at the end of a story into a new one.
This is fantastic news, but it's also come a little late for me, as I've finished "Part One" of a story, but I had to continue with the same game to start "Part Two." So instead of being able to just hop back to the beginning of Part Two, we still have to go through individual chapters to get to "Chapter 20," which is the start…

Allow for the public saving and distribution of custom Storium "worlds"
Rather than making your own each time, I think it'd be neat to have a database running of unique worlds make with all their cards written and images uploaded made by members of the community. This could allow new users to see how other narrators work within the system to make the game function according to their tastes. Plus, people could comment suggestions and/or praise concerning the world that someone else made and then ultimately use the ones they love themselves.

Narrator Autopost function
In some games, like the one I am running now, would benefit greatly from a narrator being able to have posts ready in advance when challenges are completed.
For example - The challenge is: "there's a closed door - do you open it?" The moment the players complete that challenge the result (aka what is behind the door) is automatically posted regardless of whether the narrator is around or not.

template sandbox
After having narrated a few games, it seems to me that it would of great use for a narrator to have access to a way to set up the next scene or act in a format that could be saved within Storium that could then be applied to the story when needed. As it currently stands (as far as I can tell) the only way to do this is to create the scene but not "Publish" only holding it in "Preview" which works because it is saved but I have been caught out by publishing in error at the wrong…

Add a link to each post
It would be great if each post had a url generated when the post was made so anyone could copy and paste the link to any post so others could jump to that post on the page - almost like a bookmark in ms word. The alternative when trying to reference some specific part of the story is just to manually search for it which, for longer games can be quite time-consuming.

Expand Character Details
It would be nice if there were more fields for character attributes, like age or backstory, that could be used to flesh out a character, maybe even a way to post one-shot side stories about each character.
