Allow Narrators to create stand alone NPCs
Currently there seems to be no way a narrator can create a character in his/her own game that would post under the character's own name instead of under the generic "Narrator" header. This could be a problem if a story develops more than one important NPC that needs to take turns. It would be easier to track these characters if they had their own profiles.

Hi, Stephen - I'm wondering the same thing as David; has this already been implemented, or is this planned for the November release? The only way I can find currently for the narrator to make an additional character is to use the Character cards, but that requires them to be used as a challenge, rather than be used as a full NPC with strengths, weaknesses, etc. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks for all this! We're having a lot of fun!!

I would certainly be nice to have them included in the cast list, with the same sort of information (if maybe not as detailed) as the player characters. I wouldn't want to see them given the same prominence - maybe listed below PCs with a noticeable break.

NPCs are often important to our campaigns and they help to create a richer world. Can this "person" participate in combat, perform skills, and have motivations like any other character? Or are they limited to just hanging around like an amorphous puppy?

Yes, it does. I understand that and I think that is a great way to *introduce* or add an NPC to the game. Let's say that NPC evolves into an important character, one that needs his or her own entry. Now let's say yet another NPC evolves into an important character. These characters will have their own entries into the story, but the entry is still marked as being written by the Narrator. In theory, the Narrator could post 3-4 times in a row to represent each different character plus the overall story segment. I would like to be able to differentiate between these NPC-only entries and the overall Narrator posts.
