Narrator can take asset cards from player
I think in the same way a narrator can give cards to a player s/he should also be able to take those asset cards away.
Also, it might be good to have assets be associated with the outcome if a challenge. For example, if a player achieves a strong outcome for an obstacle they might automatically gain a certain asset card. Alternatively, if they have a weak outcome maybe they lose an asset card of the narrators choosing; something like that.

I think this is a great feature, but I think it would be even better if we had the ability to do both at the same time.

This is a repost. I need this to be a feature though. Why on earth can we hand out assets but not reclaim them if they lose them?

How has this not been added yet?

My 'concern' would be if you made it available to writers, what if one of the writers doesn't want it?
Though I suppose there could just be a 'drop' option and the writer could just leave it where he/she was for someone else to pick it up.

Agreed. When I first started in Storium, I picked up a wrong asset cars that my character will never use. I can't get rid of it, the narrator can't get rid of it, and now I'm stuck with it.
Curious- would you have this feature available to both the narrator and the writers? Or just the narrator?

As a narrator, I find there are times when I want an NPC to take an asset from a player as part of the story. For instance if a challenge character disarms a player and now has possession of a knife or gun, I should be able to take that card away from the player.
Or if the story requires an asset be given to another player, I should have the ability to make that happen automatically instead of asking a player to do it.

I agree this is needed. As the narrator I want to write scenes where people get robbed or things go wrong. In order to do that, I need to be able to take their cards away.
