Cooperative play & workspace
There are situation where it would be fun to make a move together with another PC. This might be coop action, dialogue, combining cards. Right now the mechanics mean either taking action for another player (of course you can't play their cards) and possibly misplaying another PC/offending someone, or working outside Storium to draft up the play together. Multiple short plays don't get the same effect.
I think it would benefit the group's sense of shared purpose, and open up richer plays and PC interactions.
My rough thought would be a cooperative workspace where you could invite a subset of…

Margin of success (or failure)
Not unlike other narrative driven games (as opposed to mechanic driven ones), it might be interesting to look into pacing the outcomes of challenges by the total "value" of cards played (adding up all strong cards, and deducting all weak cards).
Then have the outcome be based on the amount of strong/weak points.
Good, better, best--for strong outcomes. Bad, worse, worst--for weak outcomes. This idea came to me after playing a six-point challenge. I did the last move, and by that point we were into a weak outcome with three weak and two neutral cards played. Narrative-wise, there was no…

Have an Etiquette Guideline
We're already running into trouble with god-modding and powerplaying, particularly with moves and information that is known to the players and shouldn't be known to characters, but players are choosing to ignore stated limits and undermine other people's actions. A short Guideline to these issues and how to avoid irritating other players would be a really good idea.

Provide visual feedback for new commentary
When you post new commentary, you're given control of the edit box again but there's no visual feedback that the commentary was successful until the comment appears. Might be good to have a "loading" indicator here?

Kickstarter backer icon
How about changing the Kickstarter backers' icon, currently a silhouette of a trophy, to something more relevant? It's not an award that was won, it's a marker for those who backed the early company on Kickstarter. Maybe a pickaxe? shovel? unlit campfire? candle? ignition switch? boot? The trophy icon could be saved for future use when someone wins a prize or meets a certain goal. It's a very minor thing, but as a backer, I'd prefer the icon to be something other than a trophy, something more related to the start-up.

Allow the narrator to fix stalled games
I've got a game that's stalled out because one player has stopped playing entirely. I can't save the game for the other players because the scene can't progress without that player's cards. I don't have the ability to edit the challenge requirements, or to boot players, so the game is ruined for everyone.

Dual Strength/Weakness Cards
Certain traits could be detrimental in some cases, but helpful in others. For example, say you want your character to have "Brutal Honesty" where they always tell the truth no matter how harsh it is. In some challenges, that will be hurtful as you insult characters, but other times, the person may appreciate your honesty.
Not exactly sure how that would work mechanically. Maybe it is a "neutral" card that the narrator decides whether its a Strength or Weakness when played. Or, maybe it flip-flops (is a Strength when first played and then a weakness the next time).
Either way,…

Allow bulk creation of cards.
There should be some way to create a large number of cards at once. Either by uploading a file (maybe a CSV sheet) or by, instead of card by card in the way it is now, creating a list of names and contents. This would massively help with user created worlds.

Implement a voting system for things that don't need a "challenge" setup
While the card system is great and works for most things, there's sometimes a need for the group to come to a resolution on something in a way that could use some technical support but doesn't need to be a challenge. For instance, "Where does the group head next?"
It'd be nice to be able to set up a simple poll with a few answer options, and just let the group vote without having to do moves or play cards. The Narrator could set a time limit on the survey or manually close it, and have his answer.

Filter/Search/Keywords/Tags
I'm sure that this has been mentioned multiple times by now, already. But you could definitely use a sorting and filing system to make it easier for the user base to locate certain scenarios or fandoms. A generalized search menu would be great, for starters. Maybe the narrators could attach tags upon creation for quick look ups? And filter to separate things such as NSFW (which could mean anything) violence/drug use/sex/suicide etc could even have different categories.

Allow Narrators to take "auto actions" under certain conditions.
Like, for example, "Halt game when character X posts," if that player has been disruptive to the plot in the past and the narrator wants to make sure they don't go too crazy. Or "Close challenge A when challenge B is completed" and "Close challenge B when challenge A is completed" to allow for mutually exclusive challenges. This would be good for Narrators who's schedules don't align with their players or want to create more dynamic scenes.

Private notes & stats about players
It would be nice to be able to have a private set of notes about certain players. For example - I go look at BOB'S profile, and see that I played 2 games with him and left a note 'Great RP'er, aggressive with cards) or more usefully, 'Great responses, slow response time' or even 'Avoid, causes drama'
Perhaps also statistics. "Played 5 games with this player - Completed 2" etc.
These notes would should only be visible on your own account and removable/editable so we can start to recognize who we know in this community and whom we are interacting…

Add Custom Limits on Cardplay
Allow Narrator to set custom limits on card play. In particular, I'd like to be able to customize:
- Number of cards playable per character per scene
- Number of cards playable per character per obstacle
- Number of cards playable per character per move
17 votesAdminehardee (Admin, Storium) respondedNarrators are now able to specify number of cards playable per character per scene. This can be altered on a scene by scene basis.
Thanks!

Allow for private narratives to individual characters
I really want an option to provide some private narratives to one or more characters. For example, I just started a game but I felt the need to write intros for each of my characters which provided them with additional background on where they came from and why they were at the opening scene. As neither of the characters in my story have met yet, I felt it appropriate to send these intros via email to each individual. It would be nice to have a mechanism in-game to do that.
I can also foresee other instances where different players may…

Strong/Weak outcome at the bottom of a move.
Having the 'this player came out strong' at the top of a 'move' gives away what's going to happen in that move. Putting whether they came out with a strong/weak outcome at the bottom would make reading other stories more enjoyable.
Having a more book-like form of the story for people casually reading would be nice as well. (Where the chapters flow together instead of disconnected by 'moves'). Seeing the separate 'moves' is only helpful for the narrator and possibly the players.

Additional info
You need to put up what size format the different pictures are to be at the moment it is much guessing how big a picture can be and then start to add to if (mainly on the sides) until it get the height you wish.

Tag Cards in the Narration
It would be cool to give the narrator the option to tag words pertaining to available asset cards. For example, if there's a rusty knife available for pickup in this scene, then when the narrator writes "A rusty knife stick up from the body's chest," I think it would make sense for the narrator to be able to make the words "rusty knife" bold, or even have them link to the card itself.
This could potentially work with any kind of card.

Flag characters who are out of moves/cards
Since you can only have three cards per scene, it'd be useful to flag a character in a scene who had played his three. Useful for you, since you know you can't play any more and useful for other players since they know they have to carry the can.
Likewise, it would be useful to flag someone who just ran out of cards and is picking up his hand again.
