Management of email preferences
It would be nice if there was a list of the things you provide email notifications for and let us choose (by way of check box) whether we wanted updates from them in real time, as part of a daily digest, or not at all.
I want real time notice if my players have tagged me in a comment, or if they've made a move, but I'm less concerned about comments or moves in games where I'm a player.
An example list might include:
+Moves in games I'm playing
+Moves in games I'm narrating
+Comments in games I'm playing

Story and Character Downloads
Hi Storium,
LOVE THE GAME! I have one request. I would find it very helpful to be able to download a text file of the story so far and character descriptions of those who are playing. That would help a lot for players to maintain continuity without having to go back through all the online scene screens to review who has which object; what that little plot twist was and who made it; even details like what the setting is.
Thank you,
Dawn Cromwell

talking stick/speaker's staff
You have probably already gotten this suggestion, but just in case you haven't, or haven't had it presented in this manner...
Aboriginal tribes, especially the original natives of the northwest coast of North America, used an excellent early form of "Robert's Rules" to control the order of conversation. From Wikipedia:
"In a tribal council circle, a talking stick is passed around from member to member allowing only the person holding the stick to speak. This enables all those present at a council meeting to be heard, especially those who may be shy; consensus can force the stick to move along…

Create Asset Cards that are expire with the scene or chapter
To keep players from amassing asset cards that are useless after a situation has passed, or to enable the narrator to give situational benefits to players, would it be possible to create asset cards that had a set lifespan, such as the end of a scene or the end of a chapter.
This would also encourage players to use them in a timely manner. Helpful for them and the narrator.

A "New Posts" option for the forums.
Basically, a place to click "new posts" and see who's active and what's up with the forums without having to individually check each section.

Secret Challenge Outcomes
I'm running a mystery and I have definitely hit a sour point. I want to create a challenge that ends (Strong or Weak) with the players finding a clue. However, I don't want them to know the clue until they find it.
I tried to work around it: In my Outcomes I said "You will find the clue, and/but..." (the rest being the Strong or Weak outcome). Then a player resolved the challenge with a Strong outcome, and was unable to narrate the scene correctly because he didn't know what the clue was that he found. He assumed it pointed…

It'd be nice to see a list of the people who favorited a game or user.
Basically, there would be a way to view a list of the people who favorited a game or a user. It'd be nice to know who the fans were... :)

Remove or edit the DPI info on the request-for-illustrations blog post
On the call-for-illustrations blog post at http://blog.protagonistlabs.com/post/87614173284/call-for-illustration-portfolios-from-artists, it says:
World banners (sometimes called cover banners) are 650px by 200px images. To support Retina displays and accommodate future uses of this art to promote or expand Storium, we’re commissioning these pieces at print-ready resolutions (300+ ppi).
Avatar images — including backgrounds — are 150px by 150px squares. We’re seeking print-resolution images here, too.
Card art displays either tall (100px by 160px) or wide (182px by 120px), depending on the card type. Again, we seek print-resolution images for these.
150x150 avatars at 300dpi are 1/2 inch on a side. Is that…

When narrators suggest an edit make it possible to reply directly
I didn't see a way to do this and it seems useful

Allow characters to set their pronouns
It's not always clear to the narrator what gender or pronouns a user-created character would use.
It would be good for users to be allowed to specify the subjective/objective pronouns for their characters so the narrator doesn't make a faux-pas using "him" when "them" or "her" is more appropriate.

The Storium forums should be called Foriums.
That is all.

Seriously considering this. :)

Give forums their own notification list.
One notification list to rule them all is really not ideal. Please give forums their own notification list so that the tiny space we have to get an overview of our games at a glance is not flooded if we want to keep up with forum threads as well.

Avatar in game for Narrator
Add a Narrator avatar next to the character avatars in the avatar list in a game. Let it open to a text box instead of a card list. Text box can be used for any links the Narrator wants to add (email contact, info. site url, etc.) for quick reference. Having a choice of either the Storium avatar or one used only in that game (like the character avatars) would be useful.

allow editing of character submission
After submitting a character for narrator approval I realized there were several typos in my submission. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way of editing my submission to fix the typos.
Would be great if people could edit their submission until it's reviewed by the narrator.

Play non-Strength, non-Weakness cards on top of Strength and Weakness cards
I'm never quite sure what to do with Assets, Goals, and Subplots. Talking with Judson last night, he had a neat suggestion.
Instead of playing up to three cards of any type on any challenge, make it so that players can play a Strength or a Weakness and then play Assets, Goals, or Subplots on top of that Strength or Weakness.
The move always swings the result towards a Strong or Weak outcome, but it swings it by the number of cards. So if I play a Strength, an Asset, and a Subplot, that's +3 for Strong outcome.
This allows…

Allow narrators to play more challenges than the players can tackle
I was looking to use some challenges for the PCs, more than they could actually tackle in a scene, to give them a choice on what type of path they found interesting to follow. There were several factions, for instance, and the way they played cards would show how they decided to draw their attention.
I could see it being a problem for narrators looking to screw over their players, but it could be an interesting tool to allow narrators who want to give a bit of sandbox to their players.

Replacing Moves
Trying to think outside the box to give narrator's more control over their game. Imagine a game where a player becomes intertwined in a story, and then does the dreaded 'disappearing trick', whether for valid reasons or not is irrelevant. Or revisions are requested, and that player leaves in a huff. It happens.
Editing that players post is not allowed due to IP. But, what if the move was replaced? The post in question, assuming the player was not active in the game, could be 'archived, and replaced by the narrator in order to keep the flow of the game…

Add the ability to update a bit of text on the cast.
Desiring to run my game a bit more like a classic RPG (with stats like HP, armor, etc), I'd love to be able to update a bit of text on each player as gameplay progresses. See attached pic for the concept. Thanks!

Allow specifics spectators to view private games
So you want a private game where none but you and the players can view it. No problem. What about if you want certain people to be able to watch, but not everyone, like another narrator, or a friend of a player who is interested in Storium after that friend talking up the excellent game they're participating in. Being able to invite specific spectators much like specific players would allow this.
