I agree with Meg in that being able to simply edit punctuation and tense for readability and pacing would be a boon!

    Yes. This. All of it.
I am also using a simple external text editor to compose my narration and then cutting and pasting in to the Storium editing interface.
Some of my players have brought up the same issue.

Being able to include NON-challenge PCs helps provide additional information about those in the scene without having to explicitly state that information in the narration.
"Captain Chase barks out the command, 'get that core realigned!'" works much better than, "Captain Chase, who built the engine from an Atlantean artifact that he stole from Duke Reginald, barks out the command, 'get that core realigned!'"

I would also like this ability applied to assets as well. "Engine built from an Atlantean artifact" is useful information, but I doubt the players will need to remove it and take it with them.

FYI, we are still looking at this but the initial Gamma launch will have an evolutionary improvement. New characters will start with:

    2 Strength cards
    2 wild Strength card
    2 Weakness cards
    2 wild Weakness cards

This gives you more flexibility at the start of the game (which you need it the most, because your character is new and not well-developed) without making the character creation process itself more complex.

I would also like to see the ability to select at least one different Strength/Weakness card (the 2+1 model) at character creation. As it stands, one of characters is all "social" skills. I'd like to start the game off with a bang, something like a chase, fire, shipwreck, shootout, etc. All the social skills will leave him out of the challenge, well unless he burns his wild cards early.

If you click on the link that was included in the email notification, you should see it. Can you confirm? (You won’t see it if you go to the site and then click over to your character.)

I can confirm as well. It only shows comments if the Narrator kicks the character back for review. It would be nice to have these available after character submission.
