An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI agree totally with miri's main point, as well as with Robert's comments. Sometimes a character is retired after a very satisfying run in the game. Other times (far, far too often), a player simply vanishes without explanation, and their departure degrades the entire game to a certain extent. If the game recovers and continues on to a successful conclusion at some point down the road, does that retired player who abandoned the game REALLY deserve credit for completion? Don't think so!

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedSounds like a good idea, but I'm concerned about trolls taking cheap shots simply because they can. There would almost have to be some sort of feature allowing a Narrator to both eliminate comments and report abusers. We've all seen enough of those social media posts where somebody's creative efforts are descended upon by anonymous jerks who pepper the comments page with things like "your music sucks; why don't you die?" I wouldn't care to subject my players to comments like that.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedA Narrator often needs to be able to communicate with a Player using the various chat features now available in Storium. How would Narrator-Player comms work if the Player's ID was blocked?
Part of the job of a Narrator is the requirement to manage his or her players. "Bias" is, alas, quite often a subset of knowledge...the more you understand a person or thing, the more likely your biases are to change. And not all biases are bad, either. Knowing from past experience that a certain Player always waits until the last minute until they make their move may produce a useful type of bias wherein a Narrator knows better than to issue a particular challenge to that Player requiring it to be completed prior to other players making their moves.

This is a super interesting idea, thank you for sharing it! We will put it in the mix ideas we’re experimenting with.

Hope this gets implemented soon, especially now that the game is public.
