    I like the idea, it's set dressing and would add to the immersion. Another way to do it is to drop goal cards into the scene. I think it would be useful to be able to mark a goal card as non-wild card generating. This might solve the problem?

    This needs looking at with some urgency I would say. Kickstarter tyre kickers are already leaving the site and games are being left with missing players and half finished stories. To be a success and not turn Storium into a graveyard of frustrated players and dead stories the system needs:

    1) A decent filtering system with
    a) Ability to add tags to games that people can search on.
    b) Abillity for narrator to mark games as "dead" without deleting them so they disappear from the listings
    c) Classification system similar to Ron Edwards method of classifying games ( http://www.indie-rpgs.com/_articles/system_does_matter.html ) and the ability to better classify games so that people can more easily find players that suit their play style.

    2) Dead games
    a) Ability to reassign a players character to a new player. This allows a story to continue with it's integrity intact OR the ability to copy that character's details to a new player so they can just take over where the retired player left off.
    b) Area where dead games can quickly find new players before the other players get bored and head off. At the moment readvertising your game means that it's several pages in to the "looking for players" list and as such very unlikely to get a replacement from the general list of players

    3) Socialisation
    a) Some method to mark players as good players, I'm kind of against marking players as bad players but definitely as good players. This does not mean good as in "They write well" as different people enjoy different styles so any quality judgement would be meaningless, but simply mark down that they commented, that they were active, that they appeared in scenes, played cards and did their bit to move a story on. Narrators need to be able to tell if a player is going to wreck their game.
    b) A way to blind invite players based on their tags matching the tags of your game, that way you could bulk invite people that might be interested in joining a game that lost some players and would also be a good way of bulk inviting players.

    Anyway, that's my thoughts.
    Best regards Steve

    This is a priority in my opinion. Already seeing lots of storiums grinding to a halt. Kickstarter tyre kickers are starting to leave and trying to recruit new players for a game once it's in progress is problematic as your game is now several pages in on the "looking for players". Really need to get the socialisation sorted for the game or it's going to become a graveyard of discarded games and frustrated players and that would be *really* sad for such a promising project.

    I believe that some system is required. When I glance around Storium already I can see a fair number of games that have ground to a halt. Either players left or the narrator stopped updating the game. The system needs to be better or people will waste countless hours contributing to a game that just ends up hanging.

    It would be useful to be able to add custom sliders to your game that show for potential applicants.

    So for example. I might decide that my game has a narrative bias, isn't particularly high on realism and doesn't have much of a heavy gaming element ( card use )

    I might set my sliders
    Narrativism ---------------> 10
    Realism----> 3
    Gamism ---> 2

    As the sliders can also be customised you could easily set up.

    Comedy---------> 10
    Drama---> 2
    Romance---> 0

    This kind of idea would allow players to see exactly what sort of game they are heading for right from the off.
