Allow restrictions on story assets
often the first player to make a move is tempted to take available assets. This eliminates them from play for the other players. If the narrator could limit items to certain players or limit the number of items that a player could choose, that would help.

In Email Preferences, allow the option to receive only high priority updates (without the Daily Digest)
I would love the option to receive only "High-priority updates" without the daily digest. Currently, you have the option to set your email preferences to include "Daily digest plus high-priority updates" or just the "Digest only", but I only want the updates (which are the most important part!)
I always check Storium when someone mentions me in a comment or I am poked or the narrator requests revisions, but I don't need the daily digest. Since I check the site often enough during the day, there isn't much new information in the daily digest at the end of the day.

Allow tagging characters in moves
Currently, I can only get a player's attention by posting in the Commentary.
But if I could tag a particular character in a move, I could get the character's attention without spamming the Commentary. (Also it could synergize with 'poke laggards', so we know who we're waiting on (tagged people, and people who haven't moved at all).

Allow to reverse order of Comments (newest first)
It would be nice to reverse the order of the Comments stream such that the newest comment will show on top.
Alternatively, auto-scroll to the newest unread comment.
Right now, we have to use the scroll bar to find the newest comments.

when creating a scene, a narrator can create a list of all PC and NPC present which appears in the UI.
of course, if there's an assassin hiding under the stair or ninja's lurking in the hedges, the narrator should have a "visible to PCs" switch.
But the feature would be useful for keeping straight who is where, beyond NPCs represented by obstacle cards.

Notification when starting the game not in scene 1
When a player enters the game after scene 1, s/he should get a clear notification that this is not scene 1 and get a link to scene 1, so that they can immediately start to read up on past events. Even so on the top of the side the current scene-number is mentioned it is not enough. From the handful of people I know personally who play Storium, two (incl. me) started a game in scene 2 or 3 of chapter 1 and we both didn't notice until much later that we didn't start in the first scene.

Group/sort stories by genre
It is easy to see how when there are hundreds or thousands of games going on people may want to look for a certain type of story or setting. Allowing that as a filter (despite the pleas of being pigeon holed) will help those who don't vampires in their peanut butter.

Personal Image LIbrary / Reuse Images
I know there's a global image library planned but it would be nice to be able to upload images to a personal library for reuse. I've just uploaded an image 6 times in a row to apply it to some asset cards. Being able to shortcut that would be great :)

Let me edit a card that I previously played
As narrator I just realised that I created a challenge card with the strong/weak suggestions reversed. I've made a comment to that effect, but there's still likely to be some confusion. I'd like to edit the card, but I can't see any way to. Possibly this is because a player has already responded to the card (their response is consistent with either interpretation, I think).

Can you suggest a story?
I have tried two. One disbanded before the first step and the other did not allow me to join.

Until then, you might try recruiting people you know via social media (twitter, facebook, G+, etc) — basically ask around among friends and see if you an find a group of people who are interested in playing. You can then invite them to join you on Storium!

Custom Number of Cards and Types
I'd like the ability to be able to determine what cards players can start with.
For instance, I'm narrating a game of Jadepunk, that heavily focuses on unique items owned by the players. Having them design these as strengths detracts from the characters. I'd like the ability to give my plays an Asset card that takes up on of their Strength slots, to allow them to have signature gear along with a signature character trait.

Character Class/Profession cards
Sometimes a character's class or profession can define their very nature... but other times, it is simply one facet of that character. I feel there should be an optional set of cards that the Narrator can choose whether or not to use for their story that would serve this purpose.
This would make it IMMENSELY easier for people to translate the character creation systems of some of their favorite TableTop RPGs into this setting... some like Numenera really can't function without this additional kind of card as on top of character class, that game has "focuses", which isn't simply something…

Visibility on closed games
At least allow backers to see the range of games played, even if anonymized, including descriptions and basic stats of play, such as start date, avg postings, # players. What I see so far, is a poor sampling of a much larger picture (4 games going), the remainder remain unseen by the rest of us, just registering with the beta, or am I missing something? I get it, closed is closed, and I don't expect to contact the GM or players but a notion of the scope of games out there would be helpful.

Allow the Narrator to Determine Which Characters Can Play in a Specific Scene
For when you have one group of characters going to do Obstacle A and another group going towards Obstacle B. This would allow a better flow to the narration and make gameplay more novel-like. It may also be helpful to have each scene written concurrently so as not to hold up gameplay more than necessary.

change definition of 'laggard'
It appears "Laggard" is defined as "a person who has not yet posted in a scene." Can we change this to "a person who hasn't played all 3 cards in a scene?" Sometimes that's what we're waiting for.

allow people working on iPads to post comments.
I don't know why, but when I press return on my iPad, the comment window doesn't push my comment into the Commentary stream.

I want to take goal cards from players
I think goal cards are weird at the moment. Players can get rid of them by playing them on challenges and are then rewarded for doing so. But players can just dump them for the reward if they're not playing honestly.
As a narrator, I want to be the one who takes away the goal cards. So when the player does something that approaches that goal, I remove cards from them until there are none left - and then the player is rewarded for reaching that goal

Have a wiki or log for things the characters know
It becomes troublesome after awhile to keep track of all the things that have been said which causes risk of contradicting something written previously. A wiki where players could record what is known would be helpful. In our game we started several storylines about mysteries and it would have been helpful to establish what we agreed on as fact and what was only a characters perception.

Outcome Progress Listing
When you click on the squares on a challenge for your post, it would be nice if next to the strong or week outcomes would show the number of cards that are contributing towards each outcome that way we can plan accordingly.

Images
I'm playing with Storn Cook and as a player, he couldn't post images anywhere.
It'd be nice to have a folder for the game to use as a repository for player-generated art and inspiration imagery.
