Reward for completing a game, instead of just deletion
When a game completely ends, can users earn a reward, like a profile badge or something, instead of just having to delete the story or leave it open as a record? It would be more satisfying, and give credit to the users who have played through an entire story (I see a lot of problems with abandoned characters). I also enthusiastically second the idea of being able to archive complete games. Thanks, having a wonderful time!
Completed games are now one of the achievements users receive for participating in the site. They are also listed on player profiles so that it is clear how many games a player has completed.

Hopefully, when implemented, games already completed will somehow be "granfathered in" allowing those who have already played games to completion to receive "credit," as it were.

I'd really like to see this. With the number of stories that die on the vine players and narrators who stick it out should be recognised.

Really, there does need to be a Concluded Games section, alongside "Games I'm Narrating" and "Games I'm Playing In".

Not overly keen on any story being deleted.
All stories should remain at least in an archived format so we can always go back to it. -

It would be nice if you got a badge for a completed story on your profile, or something?

Agreed, the ability to export a completed story to a PDF or even just a simple HTML file or something would be great, so if you have a really good story you can preserve it.

I like the idea of being able to archive completed stories. That would be great, if you have the storage for it. I also like the idea of player 'karma.'

Some type of player achievement system would be really nice. Player who had the most contribution during a game, player who ended the most events (strong or weak?) This could help promote player sharing their stories with other players, as well as joining other games. People may be more inclined if they see that someone has completed 5 other games, and has been a major strong contributor in those games.

Per this suggestion:

this idea is already being planned. So yay! -

I like the export to PDF idea that was mentioned here. Some of us would love to have a record of the story to go back to. Sometimes it's just fun to reread old stories.

I know in the game City of Heroes, when a character completed a player-made story he could receive a 'Souvenir' item from it that gave a brief overview of the what happened. that could be modified to work with a set of Souvenir Cards that narrators could give to players at the end of their run.
So in example, you run a story where you face an evil king named Jivex, at the end you receive a 'Crown of Jives' card which goes into your profile.
Just an idea.

I definitely want an export feature, or at least archive feature. Reading finished stories is almost as much fun as playing! It'd be a great draw for new players, and a way to learn how to play, to be able to browse a lot of complete games.

This was one of the first things that I thought of. There's nothing quite like leaving a history behind, especially if you collect some sort of points or awards from completing/participating in stories. Never underestimate the draw power of collection. Besides, without some sort of record (maybe detailing the stories I've played and the characters I've used), it constantly feels like I'm throwing most of my work into the garbage.

It would be nice to be able to export a completed story out as a .pdf or something. With a Storium logo on it, as a record of the game, if we particularly like a game or something.

Saved stories would be a nice feature, and a brag point.
