An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Aleph commentedThere are messages sent when nobody pokes, because I have *never* sent a poke and people have gotten a "don't forget to make a move" notification.
Also there are 'Sure you want to make a move yet?' as well as the hey there speedy, which also discourages players from posting.
All in all we should either have the ability to turn them off or just get rid of them. Either way I'm happy. I think it's the least I can do as narrator to just talk to people and ask them to help me out if I have a problem with their pace.

We will figure out a way to allow game deletion while also respecting players’ rights to their own content. This may take a bit because our current architecture doesn’t support editing a game’s history, extracting a specific user’s contributions, or exporting game content. All of these things are planned, though.

We are going to try out something related to these suggestions, probably in the timeframe of Gamma. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
An error occurred while saving the comment Aleph commentedI already use Goal cards to reflect a relationship in Natural Causes, the Ghost Whispering goal card reflects the symbiotic relationship between a char and the ghost who needs his help. It refreshes when they complete it, providing them a slow but steady stream of Strength from supporting that relationship! Works nicely I think.

An error occurred while saving the comment Aleph commentedSome way at least to restrict what can and can't be played on a challenge would be nice, as I have seen some pretty nonsensical cards played-- as a GM I do my best to figure out how to resolve that, but when you hand someone a puzzle and they decide to solve it with a shotgun it does sort of muddle things.

We’re going to experiment with this idea during Gamma, along with some related concepts. Thanks for the feedback!

An error occurred while saving the comment Aleph commentedNot just narrators either. The ability to save custom cards for all occasions would be good, especially if someone's taken the time to attribute photos, etc. It'd be much easier to keep track of that attribution. An option to save a custom card to a player's library would be really helpful.

Great suggestion, thank you! We like the idea of some manner of player-to-play recognition, and Karma might be a way to do it. Longer term we are also considering audience recognition — that is, people who are reading your story but not playing in it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Aleph commentedI don't think it should play into story mechanics, but definitely would love a way to reward/encourage good writing. Any system can be abused, but it's still a good system to have.
Well never sent a poke except for one experimental try, I mean :P But, not in that game.
