World - Similar to.
I'd suggest that in a World description, that a list of books or movies that relate to the World. There are some of the worlds that I'm not familiar with and knowing how they relate to would help me choose a "more correct" world.

Time limit for narrator before he/she can approve characters to game
Hi, I've found it a bit frustrating when making a character to a game, and in my case it takes some time as English is not my mother tongue, and when I've got it ready I'm declined by narrator because he/she has approved some other "same" character while I was doing mine. Also the time limit would be a good thing for players who are not in the same time zone. And maybe the pending characters shouldn't even been seen by others than narrator. Time limit could be something like 12 or 24 hours.
Best regards,

Allow editing of unapproved characters
I left a word out of my character description and can't fix it! Can we just go update the description or something? Or do we have to wait for approval? A typo or error is an eyesore to me.

BUG: No cancel button on the "Give feedback"
I started to add feedback, then saw that someone else already had in "More matches" section. There is no obvious cancel button to get me off the Give feedback dialog box, escape doesn't work, etc, and yet I don't want to post an idea! How can we close this without posting something?
2 votesWhoa weird, you are right! There is supposed to be an “X” in the upper right corner of that window. In fact, it’s there, and if you tap or click in the corner it will close the window. But for some reason the “X” itself is invisible. We will investigate!

Allow tagging characters in moves
Currently, I can only get a player's attention by posting in the Commentary.
But if I could tag a particular character in a move, I could get the character's attention without spamming the Commentary. (Also it could synergize with 'poke laggards', so we know who we're waiting on (tagged people, and people who haven't moved at all).

Allow the narrator to give out personal challenges
There are ways now to offer advantages but no way to offer setbacks. I suggest, to make it a positive experience for the player even if not for the character, we offer the player personal challenges-- challenge cards given a point value as usual, and issued to a character. The character could then play the challenge card and up to 3 cards on it, not counting towards the scene total. The end card could be a Wild Strength or Wild Weakness depending upon a strong or weak outcome.
These personal challenge cards could be played on any move where a…

World Map
I have in photoshop created a map of the known world that my setting would be used. I have attached the map itself. It would be greatly helpful if (maybe using an asset) a player could bring up the map at anytime.
4 votesFor our public launch we will be adding a place where narrators (and world builders) can share helpful content, images, and links.

Some of the stories are fun to watch from the sidelines and it would be nice to give props to talented writers.

Neutral cards should lead to uncertainty
We currently finished a 9-point challenge with 3 Strength, 2 Weakness, and 4 Neutral cards.
Given that 6 of the 9 cards were played towards a non-Strong outcome, why did it end "Strong"? I feel that it should've ended "Uncertain".
Otherwise, players can spam Asset / Goal / Subplot usage as a sort of filler just to reduce the difficulty of a Challenge.

Not have Assets count towards Card/Scene limits
I was discussing this with some of my other games-mechanically inclined friends, and we thought that it would be good if assets didn't count towards the three-card/player/scene limit. This would let players get a little more use out of them and for them to have a little more importance in the story. Since they are neutral in deciding outcomes in meeting obstacles, and because the number of assets in play is controlled by the narrator, I don't think it would be unbalancing, and it would give people more incentive to use them.

Lists on cards
I might want to create more detail for a place on the card itself, perhaps in list form to note significant details that are either permanent, or have changed about the place during game play for when the story returns to that place.
So far as I can tell, you can't use list markdown on place cards... a formatting help link for cards would not go amiss.

Notification top bar
I would like the idea of a notification button or picture (ala facebook I suppose), that can light up when a new move is made in a game, your character is approved, or a new character needs to be reviewed in the game you have open. That way you know when something new is going on and have a quick way of getting to the source (without refreshing or constantly checking the homepage/emails).

make it easier to see what has been picked when creating characters
For example, if I've picked a given subplot and then the next player picks a given subplot, I have to go into the characters to check out if there are duplicates. This is probably fine in most games, but likely won't be as much fun if everyone in a given game all picks the same subplots.

Add an "observer" category
For games that we want to keep private, but allow certain selected users to simply watch, without participating?
Although, I guess we could just invite them in as players, and then they do nothing. There's obviously no requirement for any player to actually "play" as it were...

Example cards
I think that when creating a game, there needs to be a set of example cards so that narrators, when building new locations/NPCs/etc. can at least figure out what is a good idea in terms of length and description. And this tool would work great if it were prominently displayed in the creation section for narrators.

Clarifying Goal / Subplot card usage
Without changing gameplay, it might be helpful to make the "Choose a challenge" button read "Choose a challenge, subplot, or goal". Bear with me. This implies that you are choosing what the objective of your character is in their Move.
Then, if you choose to pursue a subplot or goal, you are prompted to choose a challenge that is pushed towards "uncertainty".
In essence, it's still the same as the system is, now... it's just clearer to players what it means to play a goal or subplot.
From what I can gather, the idea of a goal / subplot card…

allow a bit of timelime manipulation
We had an event where a player won an obstacle and took control of the story before all players had gotten a move in, and in the narrative were left behind. It would be nice if a player could insert a move to just above where control was taken, so that they could complete a task they needed before the story moved on.

Move the cast list and comments sidebar further up the page
I tend to browse on a small screen, within a browser that is not maximized. There is wasted space above the cast list and comments areas. If that wasn't there, I could (for example) see all 4 characters in my game.
