Refill cards when -all- players run out, not just at the end of a scene.
Bear with me ... This would be an optional game setting.
Card Refill:
1. Individual, at end of scene (default)
2. Collective, when everyone runs out.It serves 2 purposes.
1: It ensures absolutely every one gets to play their cards. If you have primarily only 1 or 2 challenges per scene, the same few players, if they're quicker off the mark, can complete those challenges and thus take control of the story more often than other players, players who may not have as regular access to the internet.
With this system, limelight-hogging players run out of cards quickly, and…

require narrator approval for character bio edits
Add feature so that upon completing an edit the bio is sent to narrator with changes highlighted for approval or discussion. Saves having to try to co-ordinate off site.

"To the Top" function
In the mobile set-up specifically you can scroll forever and not find the bottom or the top of a page but there can still be a lot of scrolling in the browser as well. I would like to see a "to the top" option after each person's post and at the top a "To the Comments" and "To the Bottom" option as well as a footer with a link to the home page in it. These options will make site navigation easier on a mobile device and in standard browsers.

Game Rules & Additions
I would like to see narrators with more options. For instance being able to add a maturity rating to restrict youth from joining and a way to determine how much God Modding will be allowed if any. I've seen the idea for a custom rules section to be brought back from the alpha site, that would be great.
Maturity Rating- In case we have a younger audience. If it is rated "Mature" perhaps Storium automatically blocks their ability to join the game.
Modding: I'd like to be able to see if the narrator plans to Mode my PC in a…

Organize Commentary Blog Style
The commentary bar on the right would be rather more convenient if it could be convenient in the newest->oldest blog style, so that new commentary doesn't require endless scrolling.

Character journals
Allow people to write a side character journal if they were t involved in a scene, or between scenes, during intermission / what have you. The narrator could award new cards if they wanted, or credit toward a goal or sub plot.

show past games in a person's user page
Right now it shows currently playing games, but it would be cool to see the past characters (if public) a person played. It might help a GM decide if they think the person is a right fit for their game, etc.

Make assets consumable or acted upon
Allow assets to be acted upon, such as eaten, destroyed, split, etc. For example, a pie could be eaten, a piece of candy could be crushed or split in two, or a shirt could be cut up.

For those who don't want Karma
Karma could get out of hand, especially a thumb up / thumb down feature. It's vague, and a completely lazy form of player assessment.
What if a narrator thumbs down a player because he: doesn't like the player's style of writing / doesn't like how long their posts are / doesn't like how short their posts are? A thumbs down (or up) could mean anything, and tells future narrators absolutely nothing about the player's quality of writing.
The alternative?
Be an invested narrator. Search through your potential players' histories... and decide for yourself if you like them as a player.…

Allow Narrators to change Card Types
There are some existing Nature Cards that I want to use as the basis for NPC Character Cards, but there's no way for me to change the Card Type, and I don't want to recreate the entire card from scratch. I'd like to have either a drop down when editing the card (for Narrators only) or be able to drag and drop the card into a different card section.

Allow the narrator to remove a player from a game and assign the character to another player
I hope there's a mechanism to reassign characters to a new or different player if the narrator feels like a player is being a laggard or is disruptive to the spirit of the game.

option to adjust and turn off notifications for specific games
Options for players and narrators to choose what notifications they recieve from each game, including turning the notifications for a game off. for busy games notifications come so quickly they drown out quieter games so the ability to turn them down and off is oretty important. options like : only recieve notifications of a new scene, new challege, narrator move, specific character move, or no notifications would change the overnotification of busy games.

updateable summary/ table of contents/ important game history
an updateable summary of the game where main points/events can be recorded preferably by both narrators and players, maybe organised by character + significant npc's and story events. this is for complicated games where alot has happened and an outline style reference log that can link to specific moves, can help the readers and group follow plots and subplots and game references. i suppose this can be done also with a wiki which i read might be in production at some time in the future. this will help with new character integration especially i think- a system that can bookmark…

Ability to flag stories as "Not interested"
Hi,
While filtering through the stories it would be good to be able to click on a story and mark it as "Not interested", there are a lot of stories on there and I keep rereading the introductions while trying to find something to pique my interest. It would be useful to be able to just flip some off ( with a check box that allows me to also see these at any stage ).

allow the "tooltip" details of a character to always be viewable whenever that avatar appears.
Right now if you click on an avatar in the Cast view, you see some tooltip style details. However say you have a long chapter and you just want to check out the details of who spoke before you. Right now you have to scroll all the way back to the top of the page. Instead, it should be the case that wherever the avatar of a character appears, clicking that avatar should show the "tooltip"

show all the "posts" of a character in the current story when viewing the character's details
When I look at a character's details page, it is often because I want to potentially mention or use that character for a brief moment, but I do not want to do something that is out of character for them. It would be very handy to see a list of all the parts of the story that that character has "said" almost as a log, so I can read back quickly and learn how best to treat that character.

display details about the cast via mouseover as well as click
When viewing a story, I want to potentially include another player in the narrative, but I want to be true to that character. It would be great if the "Cast" avatars would show their details on mouseover as well as click, and that when click on a name of a character in those details that the character page opens in a new tab, instead of blowing away the page I was in, since I was probably in the middle of writing my next step.
