allow for branching storylines.
Create a mechanic in scenes for branching opportunities, where once a single obstacle or character is overcome, new paths are revealed and others lost.

I'm running a Mysterious Island, and have the players beginning at the plane crash, but do they search the plane? Make their way down the cliff? Enter the jungle? If they search the plane, they might discover an object of portent and some other mundane items which I wouldn't want sitting out as Asset cards at the outset of the scene.
If they journey down the cliff or enter the jungle, they shouldn't still be…1 vote -
Renaming Goal Cards
Sometimes events obviate a goal. For example, 'Befriend Bob' and then Bob gets killed. Why not make it possible to rename them just like Assets, by using up one of the cards?

Give narrators a tense setting
In the games I've played, there seems to be at least one point in which the issue of what tense the writing is being done in is discussed. What would be handy, for clarity's sake, is to put a Tense: setting in the story notes section similar to how Speed: and Visibility: is displayed. This would help to avoid confusion amongst everyone involved.

A basic blurb for each story
Each game listed needs to have blurb with a word limit of 15 words or something that gets to the point telling everyone what the theme or basic story plot is about. And also what genre it falls into.

Challenge Cards, Editable Values.
When playing an Obstacle, Challenge or Character/Creature card, it would be excellent to have the ability to set two values on the card. One for Strength and one for weakness.
For example i can play a really formidable creature and the players have two options. They can play 5 strength cards to fight the beast or play 3 weak cards and flee to look for another route.

Add more space around card images
Since I went to the trouble of picking out these images, it would be nice if players were able to see them unobstructed by text, or at larger size.

asset usable only in scene
Allow Narrator to set an Asset card as only being usable in a particular scene, place, or for a particular challenge. For example, I'm running a game where the players can act in real life or in a dream world. If I give them an asset in the dream world, I'd like them to only be able to use that asset card in the dream world (and any associated places).

Help a first time narrator with their first scene.
I have two challenges, 1 point each, and no one has made a move yet, but it says all challenges are defeated and I should consider ending the scene.
Am I doing something wrong?
1 voteRich, that sounds like a bug, sorry! We will look into it. You should ideally wait until the challenges are all addressed before continuing to the next scene.

implement move by email reply
If you get an email containing the contents of another player's move, you should be able to reply to that email and have it posted to the game scene as if you were logged into the web site.
I guess there might need to be some kind of special meta-syntax to handle challenges/obstacles and card playing.

nickname on the site
Opps - when I 1st registered and filled out the nickname for this site, I did not realize that I could not change it. Thus, I used my MMO gaming handle... which sounds ... well, it gives a bad impression in context of this writing/gaming site. Can you either let players change their nicknames within the 1st day of signing up, or post a message in the sign up form that lets users know that their nickname cannot be changed so think it through?
1 voteGood point, thanks for the feedback! Meanwhile, please open a support ticket (which is private) and let us know your current nickname and what you would like it changed to — we’ll fix it. :)

Get permission to set stories in Bordertown
An amazing shared world, and the series that largely invented the urban fantasy genre. Bordertown is a town that sits halfway between our world and the world of the fae, where runaway humans and punk elves go to make their fortunes. I think Storium was made for Bordertown stories. I was all about to start a Bordertown game, when I read that there would be copyright issues. Could you make it a stretch goal, or a module we could pay extra for? More info about the books at: http://bordertownseries.com/index.html

Mobile game use
When using my iPhone if I'm not in safari for a while it logs me out even when I select keep me logged in. I'm not sure if this is something with the software or if it's unique to my phone.

World description popup
On the join game screen, when I'm looking over the material the narrator has published, it would be very nice to be able to click the name of the Starter World and have that pop up a description of the world to better inform my character creation.

Allow greater text formatting in the Strong/Weak Result areas.
Right now everything is stripped of returns and the like.

Provide a way to export our card sets WITHOUT ART
I know that sooner or later you're going to add the ability to export our card sets from our custom created worlds. I'd like there to be an option in that export to strip the art out. We're not necessarily always careful about using "legit" art in our private games, and we wouldn't want to get in trouble for distributing it, especially if we're selling the worlds. So if we're planning to distribute our cards publicly, it would be nice to have an option to export them without the art.

Non player characters
You should be able to create non player characters to accompany players. This would enable the narrator to speak from two different directions which is hard to do in a scene continuation.

Give players a word count, as well as the scene and comment count
I like the scene and comment count, but it would be good to know how many words the narrator and players have written as well.

Problem in the narrator cards
One of the narrator characters on the game I'm in has a long-ish description. The "flip the card" button shows the other side, but the text continues and is cut off by the window; there's no scroll, and selecting via arrow key combinations doesn't work in the text display window.
Either a "pop out full description" button or a thin scrollbar on too-long descs would be a good thing.

Have custom dictionaries for autocorrect
The ability to add words to the autocorrect dictionary which would apply for all players in a story/world would be really handy.
A nice extra would be having character names automatically added when the character is created - I set up a test game with a friend and his character name kept getting autocorrected to something else which was mildly annoying after the first couple of times.
Sorry if this exists and I failed to notice.1 vote -
image dropping for game setup
I like to keep image banks in Evernote (as a narrator it's a neat way to keep your notes) and having image dropping would let me move the files over very easily.
Obviously not a priority, but something that would be really useful for varrious reasons.
Thanks!
