make "Name your character" easy to find.
Creating a character, all but the name. There's no place to put the name.

Blog gone?
Hi,
it looks like the blog link at the bottom of the page now takes you to the tumblr homepage, via a redirect.

RSS Feed for New Games
It'd be great to be notified when new games are posted at https://storium.com/games so we could get the jump on finding a new game when someone starts it. An RSS feed would be, in theory, a great way to accomplish that

add an off-topic or multiple non-Storium-related topics to forums.
I have found that in many cases, I have come to like people on this site who I have played with or chatted with elsewhere for far more than just their writing abilities. However, the forums only have options to talk about things directly related to games and gameplay.
I heard kai say that things would be better if we could talk to each other without always talking about Storium directly.
Therefore, I suggest you have either an "off-topic" or multiple non-Storium-related categories on the forums. This would allow the forums to serve as a place where Storium users could…

save fully formed challenges
I can only make the basic card of a challenge - I can not pre-write and save the outcomes. (I do by typing it on the card and then cut-and-paste but it is not ideal. I can also save in another medium but again, not ideal)
Why cant I save the whole thing with number of pips and outcomes, ready to play? I like to have things ready, so players are not waiting while I type things up!1 vote -
Fix deleting cards
I can click "delete" from a list of cards (in this case, Goals), but it doesn't actually get removed, even after the confirmation window. I duplicated a card in error and now can't seem to get rid of the duplicate.

A/B scenarios
Sometimes (on purpourse or randomly) narrator would like to manage splitted scenarios for (at least) two different groups of characters. Is there any way of doing it? Thanks.

Assets linked to Outcomes
One scene. Two different outcomes. In each of them players can get different assets. How to manage this situation naturally (not giving them the cards afterwards) so they can pick up what they want depending the option they have chosen? Thanks.

creating premade characters starting with a list
When creating Premade Characters for a game, it would be nice to start with a list of characters in some way, rather than having to be forced to immediate choose or create character cards. For example, when planning out a story, a narrator might think, "Okay, my idea is 19th Century Ghost Debunkers and I have these three characters in mind, the Bungling Scientist, the Slippery Con Artist, and the Sensitve Medium." In other words, it would be nice to sketch out the concept within Storium rather than having to do it all outside of Storium.

Forever Offline Characters
If a character is offline for more than about 2 months without vacation mode on, you should hand off all the characters in the games that they were in, that way the hosts/narrators can continue the game. I've had several of these issues, and I'm sure many other people have too.

Hold Narrators/Hosts Accountable
I don't know precisely how you would implement this, but I sure wish there was some check on the enormous number of hosts/narrators I've seen who set their game speed to the 'normal' 2-3 scenes per week, but actually move it along more like one scene every two weeks. Narrators/hosts should be called out by the system for not even trying to stick to their posted speed.

Bug fix: "Nudge Players" Narrator option just spins when selected, never completes
When I selected the "nudge players" for my game "Scrapjack: A Knack for Trouble" ( https://storium.com/game/scrapjack-a-knack-for-trouble/chapter-1/scene-2 ) the spinner appeared but never stopped.
in looking in the console, the 'poke' command returned a 200 so great, but there was an error reported in the console itself.
Perhaps in resetting the button state from busy to "complete"?

Refresh Cards as a Move (instead of at top of scene)
Refreshing your cards with no attached fiction seems really strange and hollow. This is a chance for your character to change, grow, and develop, and as such, should make an appearance in the story. I'd like to write the bits where my character realizes that they need to change tack, shift priorities, or confront their heretofore hidden character flaws.
I suppose this also applies to completing a Goal and completing a Subplot, although I haven't got there yet, myself.

allow assets to be attach to natures
In some worlds when players choose certain natures, the narrator may want to given certain assets to them. For example a player plays a knight I may want to give him sword, shield, armor, and horse automatically.

Open game info in a new tab/window when creating a character
Rather than clicking the "view game info" and having to then go back and forth reloading each page each time within the same tab/window when double-checking you're not (for example) picking the same nature as an existing character, it would be really handy to have the game info pop into a different tab, for easier comparisons.

Let player cards be set to One Player Only
For niche protection, I'd like to be able to set certain cards so that only one player can choose them. (I almost ended up with multiple pilots for my steampunk game.) That way there can be some clear role distinction between characters.

clarify what a move is that's not attached to an obstacle.
The directions tell the players to choose an obstacle when they make a move. However, it doesn't really do anything to stop them if they don't. I would either remove the option to act without an obstacle or, alternately, give some kind of direction if they don't. Perhaps, something along the lines of being sure not to address an existing obstacle without playing cards.

Actual italics/bold button
I know it says formatting help, but it's small and hard to see and seriously, asterisks? Unintuitive much? (Seriously, I went through <i> and [i] before finally realising *.)
Put in some buttons to italicise and bold text. Even if it just puts in the asterisks around the highlighted words.
