An error occurred while saving the comment Bajorque commentedI fully agree. An integrated poll would be so useful. Players' feedback are really important during the narration. There is always the possibility to ask through the commentary but if they are a lot of comments, then it get lost and some players forget to answer and then you have to search for their answer in the text. Not easy. Players should also be able to call for a vote for any out of character questions. I think in the meantime, i will start using external tools.

An error occurred while saving the comment Bajorque commentedI agree with this, It should be explained in the basics. High points challenge are long challenge that promote team effort but not difficult challenge and it give the spotlight to the one finishing it. So it's good to mix them with individual challenge. I do that by adding (Character's name) in the name of the challenge, so the player know, it's for him to tackle. Or i create copies of the same challenge (usually 1-3 points), one for each players allowing them to demonstrate (and use) their strength or weakness in this challenge and creating a form of gentle competition. Everyone resolving it in a different way.

Great suggestion, thank you! We actually have this in our evil plans. Worlds will come with narrator and player-oriented documents that provide backstory, plot ideas, etc. You’ll be able to edit and add to these in the course of play!
An error occurred while saving the comment Bajorque commentedSame for me, I would like to give handout to players like a map of the city or newspaper clipping accessible at any time, but I can't, right now.

We will soon be adding the ability for the narrator to explicitly specify which characters are in a given scene. Would that help a bit?
Meanwhile, you can visually segment the action in a scene by using a horizontal rule (“
-” in our layout syntax). Note also that the system does not require that players make a move in every scene. So you can ask someone to “sit this one out” and the scene will be able to progress just fine. Hopefully these techniques can get you un-stuck for the time being?Regarding simultaneous scenes, we’ve received this suggestion from a couple of other users, too, and so we are thinking hard about how we could add it to Storium without making things difficult to use and understand. It’s high on our list so please stay tuned.
Thanks for the feedback!

I completely agree with this. It would help create a game feel. May be at the creation, the player could select one more weakness card and one more strengh card to compensate. That would allow some distinction between characters.
