Assign new strength/weakness cards to players
Give the narrator the ability to give and take away strength/weakness cards to players in a scene. For example, someone tries to swim across a cold river in winter and becomes fatigued. By allowing the narrator to give that person (or people if multiple with same condition) a fatigue card to play as their weakness, it allows for some cool immersion.
You could give them a goal card of getting rest/warming up whatever, and once that's done the narrator takes away the weakness card.

Let invited players view private games
Right now, I have a player invited to a a private game who's still stuck for ideas making a character. I'd like to let him read the story thus far, but it doesn't seem to be possible until a character has been made.

Viewing cards on the iPhone
I was reading a few of the games that are being played and I had some issues using my iphone.
I had a little trouble with viewing any of the cards in a particular scene. The first issue I had was figuring out how to close the overlay. I kept trying to tap outside the overlay to close it - it took me a bit to realize the link to open the card would also close it. Perhaps a standard 'X' in the overlay to close it would be beneficial to users?
Additionally, I noticed that when turning a card…

Choose post placement
It would be nice to be able to choose where in the scene your post should be put. For example:
Jane posts: Jane pulls Sarah aside for a private conversation.
Bob posts: Bob and Randy are busy working on making the truck work.
Then when Sarah comes in to post instead of her post just going to the bottom she could select it to come AFTER Jane's post and BEFORE Bob's instead. This way Sarah and Jane could have a private conversation without being mixed in with all the other action going on. This could potentially be a way to…

Allow players to perform retrospective (feedback) after the close of a scene.
With the close of the scene, allow all players to give feedback about the scene. I think the retrospective could be simple as a sprint retrospective:
- What should the group "start doing"
- What should the group "stop doing"
- What should the group "continue doing"

Make the interface arrows stand out a little better
One of my players who came in at the second scene didn't know there was any way to go back to the first scene, because his eyes passed right over the grey arrow that blended into the background. Maybe a brighter color or something? And/or a caption "Previous Scene"?

More Flexible Strengths & Weaknesses
Instead of having 3 identical Strengths & Weaknesses, keep it to 3 of each card, but allow the player to choose each card individually.
Example: I'm making a character who is both Highly Observant and Good With A Gun. As it stands, I can only use one of these. Under this change, I could pick 2 Highly Observant Strength Cards and 1 Good With A Gun. If I had 3 Strengths I wanted, I could take 1 card for each and pick when each Strength comes into play. Same for Weaknesses. Or, I could still make all 3 cards the…

World description popup
On the join game screen, when I'm looking over the material the narrator has published, it would be very nice to be able to click the name of the Starter World and have that pop up a description of the world to better inform my character creation.

Mobile game use
When using my iPhone if I'm not in safari for a while it logs me out even when I select keep me logged in. I'm not sure if this is something with the software or if it's unique to my phone.

Images
I'm playing with Storn Cook and as a player, he couldn't post images anywhere.
It'd be nice to have a folder for the game to use as a repository for player-generated art and inspiration imagery.

Allow the narrator to fix stalled games
I've got a game that's stalled out because one player has stopped playing entirely. I can't save the game for the other players because the scene can't progress without that player's cards. I don't have the ability to edit the challenge requirements, or to boot players, so the game is ruined for everyone.

Put a clock somewhere
It would help organizing a game if everyone could see one common clock, lets call it "story time" somewhere. Timezones are a pain, and when someone says "I'll post next in the afternoon" it can get pretty vague.

secret / flippable cards
if you had secret / flippable cards, you could solidify any secrets that your character is holding at the start of the game, with that information easily available and accessible to you and the narrator throughout the game, but secret to the other players until you reveal or flip that card. i'm thinking mainly dual natures or dual goals/subplots but it could work for assets too.
it would go a long way towards solving the problem of narrator's notes in character submissions going missing once a game has started, as I like to browse my cards as a quick way…

Filter/Search/Keywords/Tags
I'm sure that this has been mentioned multiple times by now, already. But you could definitely use a sorting and filing system to make it easier for the user base to locate certain scenarios or fandoms. A generalized search menu would be great, for starters. Maybe the narrators could attach tags upon creation for quick look ups? And filter to separate things such as NSFW (which could mean anything) violence/drug use/sex/suicide etc could even have different categories.

Display real names in comments.
I'm playing with friends and now I have to remember that Harris is IxianPrime is my friend Jordan. The email notifications show the players real name after the character name, so should the comments in-game.

Get permission to set stories in Bordertown
An amazing shared world, and the series that largely invented the urban fantasy genre. Bordertown is a town that sits halfway between our world and the world of the fae, where runaway humans and punk elves go to make their fortunes. I think Storium was made for Bordertown stories. I was all about to start a Bordertown game, when I read that there would be copyright issues. Could you make it a stretch goal, or a module we could pay extra for? Implement Multi Scene Challenges
Our narrator winged that in one of the games I'm in and I'm really liking the idea as a tool. You should be able to implement big challenges that span several scenes or maybe even chapters. Players could work towards it as it comes up and independently of other challenges.
The challenge in question and a good example was survival in a hostile wilderness along an extended trip that spanned several scenes. There were other challenges to address individual hazards and obstacles but the overarching challenge would return each scene, minus the value that had already had cards played on…

Save card after adding/altering image attribution
Right now, you can only save a card if you alter the text (or the image, I think). If you crop the image or add an attribution, it doesn't recognize that any changes have been made. You should be able to save after making these kinds of minor alterations without having to make false edits.

Improve the UI of the All Notifications feed
It would be nice if all the notifications from one story were grouped (perhaps with a graphical element), or people somehow saw only the most recent notification from each game, or color-coding, or something to improve the wall-o-text.
Thanks!

add a function: Player is finished
We found that it might be handy to have some kind of an option, where players can indicate that they have nothing else to contribute to the scene. Once all players have activated this option, this indicates to the narrator that he can close the scene. That way nobody is left out just because they are not back from work yet ;-)
