Better scrolling on the comments
If you miss a chunk of comments, it's kind of hard to scroll in small increments to read them.

Permit mutually-exclusive obstacles to allow greater player choice
Right now, all the players are, by default, on the same "side" in all conflicts. Allowing the Narrator to set mutually-exclusive obstacles will let players use Storium's mechanics to work at cross-purposes.
I know that a Narrator can set two Obstacles and end the scene manually when one is met. I think implementing this as a Narrator-side choice from the beginning will allow more dynamic stories.

Do something different with word count restrictions
I understand why you have the word count limit. But I think it either needs to be increased (especially for early on in stories, when we're trying to provide character development) or at the very least have the countdown displayed from the very beginning. It was frustrating to be typing along and then all of a sudden "98 words left". Well, crap, now I have to go back and delete some stuff. Knowing exactly where we are at all times with the word count limit would be very helpful.

Narrators are now able to set the word limit at their own discretion.

have a mechanic for Character Death
I like games (especially in the Cthulhu vein) where character death, dismemberment or otherwise negative affectations can happen. I'd love to be able to give out Weakness Cards that are "Madnesses" or something to that effect, or have the ability to on a Weak (or maybe allow for a worse than Weak) completion of an obstacle -- the character could die.

Offer "game type" selections
I think people are really confused about what they should and shouldn't be doing as players and narrators. Some games do well as amorphous free-for-alls, but anything a narrator actually puts effort into creating can struggle hard from players writing extra details into the setting, writing for the narrator's characters, and making wild shifts to plot. A mode describing the game type and resulting scope of moves could help freeform players find freeform games, and players looking for more depth of plot to find games with their type of challenge.

Private notes & stats about players
It would be nice to be able to have a private set of notes about certain players. For example - I go look at BOB'S profile, and see that I played 2 games with him and left a note 'Great RP'er, aggressive with cards) or more usefully, 'Great responses, slow response time' or even 'Avoid, causes drama'
Perhaps also statistics. "Played 5 games with this player - Completed 2" etc.
These notes would should only be visible on your own account and removable/editable so we can start to recognize who we know in this community and whom we are interacting…

create narrator's notebook
A place where narrator's can write notes to themselves and the like. Creating worlds needs space!

change the order in which moves are displayed
... or, rather, offer an option to flip them, newest to oldest instead of oldest to newest. A long scene requires me to be constantly scrolling to the bottom of the page to read the newest addition. Wouldn't it be nice if that were right up top instead?

Allow apply to join from more pages
A friend sent me a link to a game that needed an extra player, but I couldn't join the game from that page. Instead, I had to find the game in the "Games > Looking for players" page. I suggest that if a game is open for more players, there should be an "apply to join" link from the main game page.

Allow players to revise a character submission
It would be great if, having submitted a character and realised you'd made an error, you could unsubmit it for a revision.

Favoriting Scenes
As a Storium player I would like to mark a scene in particular game as a "favorite" so that can return to the scene later to marvel at the storytelling within the scene.

When things are a little further along, an app or mobile version would be amazing.

Allow the narrator to offer options for what the next scene will be.
I'm doing it informally by putting in [Do you want to pursue the suspect? Go back to the station? Check with your sources? Something else?] at the end of the scene closing. The players can then choose the next scene, rather than the narrator picking it for them.
I would love to see some tool put in to allow that rather than having to do it informally.

Review System for Worlds, Stories, Narrators, and Players
I'd like to see the ability to give 1-5 star ratings and have them listed along with the corresponding item. This would help greatly in choosing stories to participate in as a player or worlds to use and players to accept as a narrator.

Group pool goal cards
I think that instead of dropping several stacks of shared goal cards, there should be a group pool of cards for pcs to pursue a shared goal.

Fanmail
Some games (such as Prime Time Adventures) have a mechanic whereby players can give out fanmail to their favourite contribution by another character to a scene. It occurs to me that Storium would be an ideal platform for a mechanic like that.
Players could award one fanmail per scene to any player other than themselves, which mechanically would take the form of a wild strong card.

Change the Effect of an Uncertain Outcome
Currently I feel there is nothing to differentiate completing a challenge with an Uncertain Outcome from making a move that does not complete a challenge. (By playing a non-completing card, or not playing a card at all). By leaving the outcome entirely up to the narrator, it feels like there is nothing to incentivise the player to complete a challenge in this way.
While there are tactical benefits to playing cards early and often, there are also benefits to marshalling them. Playing a card to complete a challenge with an uncertain outcome therefore feels like a wasted card, as it…

Make a way to give a character a thumbs up for a particularly good passage
I'm very new to this so perhaps there is a way to do it already, but I have read a contribution from a fellow character that kicked so much ass that I'd love a way to tell him "Yeah! Right on!" Like the "like" button on Facebook.

Ability to search games, users, and worlds
A way to search the existing games more efficiently than going down the list 5-10 at a time would be a great idea. Some of the games featured in the Kickstarter info, I'd like to check out.

allow Narrators to arrange cards
For example, I have several cards that detail places where one NPC faction is, several cards for the second NPC faction, and then general place cards that may be used at anytime. Currently, they're all scattered and mixed together, but I'd like to be able to order them (drag and drop would be awesome!) into the order that makes sense to me.
