Let Narrators Give Players The Option To Refresh Cards
If the Narrator wants to start a scene out with the players fully relaxed and refreshed, then it might make sense for the Narrator to let players refresh their cards at the start of the new scene/chapter/whatever. This sort of soft refresh probably shouldn't give additional Wilds, but could probably give a player back all of their current cards.

Add RSS feed to the Looking For Players forum
Title says it all. It'd be a handy way to track what's going on in there as timeliness in responding to a new post might be the key to getting into a game.

about bullying on storium
Why not have some sort of % system similar to ebay? After a game is finished each player must do a survey that gauges there experience with the other players and the narrator, and, the narrator would do a survey about the players. Everyone would than get a copy of those surveys which would have the survey takers identity removed from the survey. A persons rating on the % scale would be determined by the surveys. Also, everyone should get the chance to refute a negative survey after which either storium management or a council made up of storium members…

degree of separation between differently located characters
The narrator should be able to blank out any submitted text by any players to other players whose character are in no position to know said situation submitted, the blank out scenes become cleared after the scene ends and all players have submitted their text. having the option to do this would add some consistency in the story.

Create a way to extract all of a user's gameplay to date
Right now if I'm coming up with backstory in scene 4, and I want to refer to it in scene 50, I have to comb through 49 scenes to figure out where I said the thing I want to reference. Ditto if I want to refer to an earlier conversation.
The new feature would allow you to:
a) For a particular game, create an extract of all the moves for a particular character, and/orb) Create an extract of all moves in which a particular character was mentioned by name.

Normalize "blockquote" to HTML standards
In HTML, "blockquote" is used to pre-format text without using more advanced formatting and styles. It preserves and passes on everything you type within the container, including blank lines, which your blockquote does not, it deletes them, even if you put ">" at the beginning of a blank line. Also, it preserves extra spaces within the line, so that you can move text to the right using spaces. Your current blockquote does little more than apply a vertical line to the left of what you type, and remove blank lines that ordinary text would preserve.

New Player Engagement
In my experience, new player engagement has been awfully difficult, My relatively short Storium career has gone. Join site. Browse for game. Look for beginner game. No beginner games accepting new players. Look for regular game. No regular games accepting new players. Check Looking for Group forum. New game starting that needs players. Create character. Character Rejected. ...Are we having fun yet??
There has to be an easier way to get a game going, am I missing something?

But truly, the best way to get playing is to bring your friends to Storium. You can start a game and invite friends via Facebook or via email. Once they’ve joined-up you can use the Green Room to decide what you want to play, and you can hand-off the host and narrator roles to someone else, if you want!

Offer Email Alerts for Open Games for Beginners
On the Games for Beginners page, if no games are currently available, there should be an option for an email alert to notify when a game is available.
I am a new member, and currently no games are available. I will continue to check, but after several attempts, I may stop out of frustration or forgetting. Having this option will likely retain new members who may otherwise find it difficult to join a beginner game.

Allow minor revision requests
Sometimes as a narrator you want to make a revision request for something that doesn't really change the content of the move, such as a typo or rewording an NPC's dialogue. In these cases it would be nice to mark the revision request as minor so other players can continue to post.

Allow characters to start with more than one *different* strenth card and more than one *different* weakness card.
It makes no sense to me to restrict characters to starting the game with only one strength and weakness (multiple copies of the same card are something different). In some games this is fine, in others, it would be nice to allow -even require- players to plan out their characters a little more in advance than just having one strength and one weakness, and without having to play tricks such as everyone having a load of wild cards, adding such information to the character bio - or using asset cards as strengths and weaknesses. The game already has strength and…

BUG - Free player problem
This might be a problem that only I am experiencing...
For the beginner games, it says that they do not count towards the 3-game limit that free players have but I am unable to join them?
I am also only in 2 games.6 votes -
enable reordering of cards in play
I added some extra cards as afterthoughts, but they're not arranged in an appropriate way. I need to delete them all and readd them if i want to change that.
5 votesGreat suggestion, agreed that you should be able to do this. We’ll put this on our list, thanks!

implement a "bulk copy" button.
A method to make multiple copies of one or more cards would be great.

On the Ending the Scene dialogue the narrator can't see the character cards only goals and assets
It would be nice as the narrator to at least be able to see the character cards when Ending the Scene. I want to use a character I built to foreshadow the next scene, but I can't remember the exact title I used. Since he wasn't in the current scene, I can't see anything about him as I write the scene end.

Indication on homepage of games that need attention
With just 4 active games, I find that I spend most of my time on Storium trying to figure out where I should play, rather than actually playing.
It'd be great if rather than simply grouping games by "you're the narrator" or "you're a player in" on the homepage, if the homepage list of games were prioritized by how much they need your attention.
For instance:
A game in which you've had the last move would go to the bottom of the list.
A game where you're the narrator and all the challenges have been completed would move towards the…5 votes -

Allow putting images among text
I'd like to be able to insert images in among the text I'm writing as narrator. I know I can put in an image for the actual scene, but what if I want to show off a detail or a certain npc seperate from that?

Ability to style a story (colors, graphics)
It would be neat if I could pick the colors on my storypage, so I could do light text on a dark background, or pick an overall background image and so forth. Not a "must-have" but would be a nice tool - especially if I could do it from scene to scene.

Group Notifications Together
I'm involved in several games and a notification for every comment and move can get overwhelming - perhaps grouping notifications since last viewing such as "Several people commented" or "several players have moved" might work better

allow Narrators to arrange cards
For example, I have several cards that detail places where one NPC faction is, several cards for the second NPC faction, and then general place cards that may be used at anytime. Currently, they're all scattered and mixed together, but I'd like to be able to order them (drag and drop would be awesome!) into the order that makes sense to me.
