Working off the bookmark concept. if each move were an HTML anchor, then you could save a bookmark which would effectively be pageurl#anchor.

Allow card refresh during a scene
Card refresh should take place whenever a character uses up all of their strength and weakness cards. Narrators should not be forced to play a mini-game called 'how to manage to end your scene where all players get a refresh without losing your mind.'

Stock Avatars
I would love to have a stock avatar feature--just incase people have issues finding the exact look for their character.
4 votesYES, love it! We’re totally going to do this as soon as we can get art in place. Thank you for the suggestion.

Provide EVEN MORE help for first-time narrators
So you guys have done a fine job helping new narrators get started. But I'm needy and want even more help for my first game.
Sample description. I won't go so far as to say you need to give me a title, but even the short description had me freezing up with writer's block. Stephen told me that there's a pre-written first scene -- awesome! But I hit the description first and that was a hurdle.
Checklist? Or something like it. The "% Configured" bar is fine, but let me know the steps I'm missing! You have them color coded…
4 votesThanks for the great feedback! Responding your points in turn:
1. Totally hear you about the game description being a “blank page” of sorts. We here at hate blank pages! We’ll come up with a way to help you out with this step.
2. There actually is already a checklist of remaining items, just to the left of the progress bar. We might need to make it more visible…
3. You can find a couple of example games at the following URLs:

Commentary notification improvement
When I get an email notification of new commentary, I want to respond to that email and have it appear in the thread, mostly because the text of the comments are in the email. Just found out that doesn't work. :)
Alternatively, you could remove the text and make the email just an informational update like the move email notifications.

Tech issue: commentary not posting with ipad
Love this game! Trying to post commentary doesn't work with iPad. Just an FYI.
4 votesSorry for your trouble! Note that in portrait (tall) mode on the iPad, you have to actually hit the “Submit” button in order to post your commentary. It doesn’t automatically submit when you hit enter. Did you maybe overlook the submit button?

Have cast widget scroll down page
So, I'll sometimes be down at the bottom and want to check a detail about a character like a name or some such. I have to scroll all the way back up, read the info, then all the way back down to finish my post. I don't see a solid reason why cast can't scroll down, mirroring the commentary window?
4 votesAdminStephen Hood (Co-founder, Storium) respondedThe cast list actually is fixed in location, but only up to 4 players. After that, we can’t be sure that everything will fit on the screen, and if it didn’t then there would be no way to view the content that spills over. So in those cases we have to make the cast list scroll with the rest of the page so that we can ensure that everything will be visible. Make sense?

"How to Play" Feedback
I had a number of minor comments on the "How to Play" pages:
- There should be an explanation of when you will receive email notifications. I think the notification system is very good, but we just didn't know what to expect when we started.
- Please explain the "Commentary" section in the instructions (or on a ? next to Commentary). It is not intuitively obvious who will see the commentary and that it is scene-specific.
- I didn't realize that you can make moves without playing cards or confronting challenges. This should be more explicit in the instructions as it is a…

Clarify Formatting for Paragraphs
Just a tiny gripe, and very minor inconvenience, but it might be worth pointing out that formatting asterisks need to block out each individual paragraph - I'm more used to html-style tagging so assumed you could just leave the asterisk open until you wanted to switch back to normal type. Easy to correct for the user, so hardly a big deal. Overall, think this is great!

Easier commentary scolling
I am finding it really hard to read through the commentary as my scene is small enough that I'm only seeing a couple of comments, and the scrolling bar tends to jump pass comments when there is a lot of them.

Place Cards: Don't truncate or introduce a character limit
Currently place cards truncate after a certain length. Either allow all of the text we enter to be displayed, without truncating it, or create a character limit so that we don't have truncated text.

Allow characters to @ each other in the scene description.
Like an issue on GitHub, where I can reference another user on the repo, by @ing a character, I can poke them more directly into action.

Differentiate between subplot and goal icons better
The problem is that both Subplots and Goals use a flag as an icon. One is square, one triangular... but they're both still flags, and flying in the same direction.
Something a bit more clear would be nice, even if you just reversed the direction of the flag.
Personally, I would make the "challenge bullseye" icon for goals, and change challenges to using an octogon (stop sign) instead.
Goal = target = bullseye
Obstacle = octagon = Stop

Add paragraph breaks in e-mail
When I receive an e-mail from Storium with a new entry into the story, none of the paragraph breaks written into the story are in the e-mail, making it nearly impossible to read. I haven't had the chance to submit yet (still waiting to hear about word count limits) to know how the formatting works on that end, but it should probably be programmed to insert the paragraph breaks when formatting it into a copy for e-mail.

List favourite users and favourite games on their respective pages
The favourite games and favourite users pages should list the favourited items. I would recommend a two column setup* with the activity items most prominent. Additionally, the user listing should allow removal without navigating to the user's page (a small "[-]" or a small version of the star from the profile pages)
- At least for the favourite users page. I don't have any favourite games yet, so I'm not sure what the activity entries are like there. The favourite user entries are narrow enough to allow for two columns comfortable, even after a font size increase.

mandatory cards - limiting the player hand (for strength and weakness cards)
In the field of status cards, I have the following suggestion to create a stronger impact of impact cards:
How about limiting the player hand of cards, especially the strength and weakness cards:
A narrator can, for a part of the story, set a hand limit of, for example 6 cards. The baseline is 3 strength and 3 weakness cards. Wild cards do not count toward this limit. Now you can hand out status cards for the players, which they have to include in the hand. You could create an "injured" card, hand it to a player, and mark it…

Show character names when making your move
At the bottom of the turns, it displays your character's name and portrait, asking what you would like to do. However, as soon as you click on "Make a move", the character name disappears, displaying only the character portrait.
For players in multiple games, character names with unusual spellings, or people who just newly created a character, we may not always remember the character's exact name. Displaying the name next to the portrait would help remind us which character we are posting for.

Make a way to give a character a thumbs up for a particularly good passage
I'm very new to this so perhaps there is a way to do it already, but I have read a contribution from a fellow character that kicked so much ass that I'd love a way to tell him "Yeah! Right on!" Like the "like" button on Facebook.
