The Activity Summary now lists how many cards each player has played in a given scene and how far along each challenge is and how it is trending (Weak/Strong/Neutral).

We’re going to experiment with this idea during Gamma, along with some related concepts. Thanks for the feedback!

An error occurred while saving the comment PK Levine commentedI think "adding a non-challenging NPC to a scene" really falls under the general request to let us upload pictures to a scene. If we can upload a picture with a caption, then BAM, that pretty much is an easy way to include an NPC who isn't a challenge.

An error occurred while saving the comment PK Levine commentedI'm voting for this primarily for the second paragraph. I would REALLY like the option to get an email every time there's a Move or a Scene Change, but NOT when people leave Comments.
Right now, I don't have that option, so I either have to (A) switch to "digest plus important emails" which means I don't get any emails unless someone specifically tags ME in them or (B) get two dozen emails more than I want each day.
The "Email Settings" screen should be a series of checkboxes, listing the various events that happen on Storium (e.g., New Move, Poke, Scene Change, Scene Continues, Comment) and your choice of Individual Email, Add it to the Digest, or Ignore.

An error occurred while saving the comment PK Levine commentedI like Judson's idea, except that it would require a slight difference in how it was arbitrated. Basically, anyone playing a Strength on the "fight" obstacle would need to specify which side it was being played for. Then the winner of the fight would narrate it.
So instead of having a "strong outcome" and "weak outcome," you'd have a strong outcome for two different sides.
Your game isn't stalled -- just the scene. Go to the Edit Game menu and "Retire" his character. Then go ahead and end the scene, using your own judgment based on how much of the existing challenges the players *did* complete to narrate it.
When you start the next scene, the card limits, etc., will be readjusted and everything will be fine.
