View character info by clicking on the avatar/name on a move
In a large scene, it would be useful to be able to access character info by simply clicking on the person's character image/name on one of their moves. This would be a very useful shortcut rather than having to scroll all the way up.

Title says it all. It'd be a handy way to track what's going on in there as timeliness in responding to a new post might be the key to getting into a game.

Meta-Challenges
I had a sort of similar idea to what Tacronicus posted as "Opposing Outcomes," only I was thinking of it at a different angle -- as a 'meta-challenge.' In a few games I've played, the narrator has posted a series of challenges which must be completed to alter the outcome of a larger idea, each of which piece had a part to play. What if we could post the whole idea as a challenge (IE: Get off Planet X) with subchallenges within it to which the characters actually play (IE: Bribe an Official, Acquire a Ship, Meet at These Coordinates).…

Invite other player(s) to review move draft and suggest edits
Sometimes we have to "take control" of another player's character in our moves... it would be nice to be able to invite specific players to review the move draft and allow them to suggest edits. We should allow unlimited iterations of drafts/review/edits.
This feature will also allow two players to build a dialogue.
I've previously used Google Docs for this, but I think it's better if I don't have to share my Google account to every Storium player I have to collaborate moves with. :)

Finished obstacles as playable cards
I had the idea that players should be able to use challenge they have finished as a one-time card (of weak or strong nature depending on how it was finished) later in the game to play against another challenge.
For example, I finish a challenge with a strong outcomes, which then grants me a "strong" card with the name of the challenge.
For the sake of balance, I'd also suggest that the narrator would have to mark challenges specifically to be able to played after they're finished. That would prevent over-use of that feature.
Playing a finished challenge as a…

Allow Narrator-Player communication from the moment a character is *started* rather than *complete*.
I definitely appreciate the new private commentary sections that we have on the player character pages--very nice. But I'd like to ask for one adjustment...it'd be nice to have that become available from the moment a player starts a character rather than when the player submits a character.
Sometimes as a player I've had questions about a Narrator's world that I need resolved, and the only way to do it at the moment is to complete a temp character and send a note to the narrator with approval.
And as narrator, I can see if people I have invited have…

Detailed Tabbed Browse Game Entries
Each game in the Browse game section (and its game entry) should have a bunch of tabs for information. Tabs for the following info:
- game narrative for feel and flavor
- game meta info including links to game's wiki and forum
- campaign/game info
- character creation info with character profile template
- history

Notification email choice
It would be great to be able to check what types of notification emails you get - I don't want to be notified every time someone edits a move, but I would still like comments and moves to be emailed. Customisation of emails would be great and save me from having to make a million different Gmail filters!

Gamma Issue: Narrator-Provided Cards no longer editable?
It seems with Gamma character creation, we're no longer allowed to edit cards that are provided by the narrator, not even to add images. In fact, in order to add an image to such a card, you have to recreate the whole card, which is quite frustrating.
Not sure if this is intentional or just a bug, but in any case, can we go back to the way it was before?

Edit Log
Add a way for users to see WHAT was edited in abother user's edit, be it to a character, move, etc. Users could more easily tell if an edit fixed a typo or made an actual difference to the plot.

Visibility of games on player profile
It would be good to be able to choose the visibility of suspended games and retired characters in one’s profile, probably? This isn’t an issue for me but it seems like a logical thing to include.

The "Opposing Outcome" Challenge Card
One way of promoting player vs. player interaction would be to introduce an "Opposing Outcome" Challenge Card. Unlike conventional challenge cards (with strong or weak outcomes), an Opposing Outcome Challenge would be used by players to determine which of two mutually exclusive outcomes take place. The accompanying image shows what two of these cards might look like.
The challenge presents two alternative Courses Of Action. These COA’s might be in the form of two choices (administer conventional medicine or an untested experimental vaccine in a medical game; reason with a creature/monster or attack it in a sci-fi/fantasy game; voting for…

Allow players to see which of the players in their scene are online
In game it would be like getting the attention of someone in the room as opposed to those who might be lost in thought or paying attention to something else. In Gmail or Facebook there is the ability to see who of your friends are online right then. I don't know how complicated that would be, but it's an ideal.

Three Issues I found.
I accidentally hit edit instead of approve for a pending character, then could not go back and change to approve. As a narrator, I should be able to comment, recommend and approve characters at my discretion, not wait for them to notice I hit the wrong button.
2nd item - In the beginning write up about the game, it would be nice to have a separate notes section that is separate than that which describes the world. If you look at my star wars game, youll see I have appended time stamps with game updates that really don't belong there.…

Allow narrators to be user-blind
It'd be good to have an option to be unable to tell what user created what character. A lot of narrators have friends probably, and it'd help remove bias towards characters because of friends and just focus on how good the character is.

Private Scene Continuation
One of my characters has just met a tragic fate, or so it seems. I would like to be able to give her a scene continuation that only she can see about where she finds herself, before revealing her cards later if they decide to leave her or if they try and look for her.

Add a true wild card
I'm finding in one game that having wild strengths as goal rewards is strangely limiting. I know there'll be more reward options in the future, but what if one of those options was a true wild card? The player could set it as strong or weak (or possibly neutral, I suppose) when it's played. That would allow for a LOT more flexibility.

Game speed wording - Use of the word "Scenes"
I'm just getting started and trying to learn how this all works. It is my understanding that if a game lists its speed as 2–3 scenes per week, it means that each player needs to post 2–3 times per week. This is a little confusing because "scene" also refers to something that the narrator creates that gets posted to multiple times by all players before completion.

Provide statistics on move times.
This is a bit unusual, but I've recently thought it might be helpful to allow players to opt in to share times when they're most active on Storium. Since many of us are in different time zones and have different schedules, it'd be cool to be able to see what times/days users are most active with a glance at their profile.

Use the border around character avatars to indicate card usage
Segment the border around each character portrait and use the three segments to indicate how many cards each character has left to use in the scene.
