Highlight custom cards
Custom cards are such a fun wild card, but half the time I don't realize when other people are playing them because they look the same.
Could they be another color or emphasized so players would know they aren't standard deck. They are often very clever and it would be nice to know, especially in larger, faster games

Allow apply to join from more pages
A friend sent me a link to a game that needed an extra player, but I couldn't join the game from that page. Instead, I had to find the game in the "Games > Looking for players" page. I suggest that if a game is open for more players, there should be an "apply to join" link from the main game page.

Edit email settings
At the moment, I like the setup where every comment, move, or scene update is emailed. However, narrator-written scene continuations are a gap in the sequence; I get the full text of a player move, then just a notification that the scene has continued, then the full text of the next player move, which of course refers to the narrator's input, which I can't read on the go without breaking away and logging into the site. So full text would be good for that.
Also it would be nice to have the option of what gets emailed; ie, moves and…

Display game speed on the "Games" page summary
This would make it easier to find a game to match your schedule when you're browsing the "Looking for players" list.

Add an Editor Mode for "post-production"
I think a nice feature for the Narrator would be an "Editor" mode that can be used after a scene concludes. This would be, ideally, a simple drag-and-drop interface that lets the Narrator reorder the scene's moves (possibly allowing for splitting moves into pieces that retain their original authorship) to better reflect the chronological order of events. This would help resolve confusion caused by near-simultaneous and overlapping moves. The final "Narrator's Cut" would then be the last word on that scene, for the benefit of readers and as canonical reference for the players.

Let invited players view private games
Right now, I have a player invited to a a private game who's still stuck for ideas making a character. I'd like to let him read the story thus far, but it doesn't seem to be possible until a character has been made.

More than 1 Nature Card?
Is there chance to have more than one nature card? I have instances with my world that the "Race" and "Classes" are separate and can't be placed together. Putting the classes in strength/weaknesses doesn't seem right.

Allow for private narratives to individual characters
I really want an option to provide some private narratives to one or more characters. For example, I just started a game but I felt the need to write intros for each of my characters which provided them with additional background on where they came from and why they were at the opening scene. As neither of the characters in my story have met yet, I felt it appropriate to send these intros via email to each individual. It would be nice to have a mechanism in-game to do that.
I can also foresee other instances where different players may…

Allow the narrator to make cards given to players private
I just had a scene where I wanted to give a player an asset card, but would rather not have had the other player in the scene know about it. Can we get an option to make the cards that narrators give to players private?

Add a section for physical traits on character page
I would just really like to know things that aren't always captured in the avatar picture such as height, weight, hair color, etc.

Mobile App
Designing a mobile app for Storium would be extremely helpful for people who would like to update their stories while on the go.

Provide statistics on move times.
This is a bit unusual, but I've recently thought it might be helpful to allow players to opt in to share times when they're most active on Storium. Since many of us are in different time zones and have different schedules, it'd be cool to be able to see what times/days users are most active with a glance at their profile.

Core Game Play Philosophy Shift
Please do not take this the wrong way...
Storium, or any game system, as much as possible, should empower us to run the games that we want in the way that we would like, and not the way that Storium feels we should play. Defaults are great and provide a great starting point to understand how the system is meant to work.
Some of the requested changes here are a call to do just that, and are focused on card usage:
Some Examples:
GM's should be able to determine the number starting cards and their numbers (natures, strength, weakness, wilds),…

Add a link to each post
It would be great if each post had a url generated when the post was made so anyone could copy and paste the link to any post so others could jump to that post on the page - almost like a bookmark in ms word. The alternative when trying to reference some specific part of the story is just to manually search for it which, for longer games can be quite time-consuming.

Splitting a game into two
I've heard through the grapevine that a "sequel" feature is being planned that will allow players to carry over their characters as they are at the end of a story into a new one.
This is fantastic news, but it's also come a little late for me, as I've finished "Part One" of a story, but I had to continue with the same game to start "Part Two." So instead of being able to just hop back to the beginning of Part Two, we still have to go through individual chapters to get to "Chapter 20," which is the start…

Enable player reference sections for custom worlds
With the public launch, there are new works with a "player reference" section. This appears as a separate tab in the Green Room and contains general information about the world which may be useful but not relevant enough to put in the introduction blurb or the "Info for players and invitees" section. This section should be made available to creators of custom worlds to edit, for exactly this purpose. Similarly, narrators using a pre-made worlds which includes one of these sections should be given the option to add to it, to explain where in the world their game is set…

Indents.
I would like to be able to indent. Currently, I don't believe it's possible to as a player. Though I suppose it works just as well, or possibly better, to just have it on a new paragraph, indentation still feels like a rather important option for a site based around writing.

Allow players to diversify Strengths and Weaknesses at Character Generation.
The current system for selecting Strengths and Weaknesses is interesting, but certain advanced players might want the option to create slightly more nuanced characters from the get go. It would be interesting (as an advanced option) to allow players to begin character generation as if they've already experienced a refresh, allowing them to fill in each strength and weakness card individually.

Provide choice of rewards for completing a goal cards.
When a narrator plays a stack of Goal cards for a player to pick up, the only reward currently given when that Goal is compelted is a wild strength. However there may be times when the narrator would prefer to reward a pre-defined Strength, or unlock a stack of asset cards on completing the goal.

Display the narrator comments on a character somewhere
I received an email notification that my narrator commented on my character, but it's not displayed anywhere on the site or on my character sheet.
