An error occurred while saving the comment Gemi commentedConsidering that at this point Natures are more cosmetic than anything else, I don't see why you couldn't change your Nature card. If we're concerned about abuse, the narrator could approve/reject changes to Nature (or request revisions, same as they can do with anything else a player does with their cards).

An error occurred while saving the comment Gemi commentedSomething like this would be EXTREMELY helpful. As narrator, I keep going back to reference old scenes as I write new ones, and I'd love a more convenient way to just jump back to a certain chapter/scene instead of clicking through one by one.

An error occurred while saving the comment Gemi commentedOh, I'd also suggest opening it up to the players to choose whether or not they want a wild Strength or Weakness. The players have a better idea of how they'd like to "develop" their characters than the narrator does.
An error occurred while saving the comment Gemi commentedI've had players request a way that they can get more Weakness wild cards. I really like goals/subplots as a mechanic but over time it does lead to players having way more Strength cards to play. Sometimes the "weak" outcome is the more narratively interesting outcome.

If the player clicks on “Browse your cards” they can actually “rewrite” their asset card to turn it into something else — anything that makes sense in the story! In this way, the player gets to keep their cards — and the narrative power that they provide — but can adjust them to what makes sense in the story right now. Rewriting an Asset costs one card, which prevents the feature from being abused. And as narrator, you can push back if a player rewrites an Asset in a way that seems inappropriate.
An error occurred while saving the comment Gemi commentedYou also can't get change a card by "rewriting" it if there's only one left. I ran into this issue and had to just make a one-point obstacle to allow my player to get rid of their card after the fact.

We will soon be adding the ability for the narrator to explicitly specify which characters are in a given scene. Would that help a bit?
Meanwhile, you can visually segment the action in a scene by using a horizontal rule (“
-” in our layout syntax). Note also that the system does not require that players make a move in every scene. So you can ask someone to “sit this one out” and the scene will be able to progress just fine. Hopefully these techniques can get you un-stuck for the time being?Regarding simultaneous scenes, we’ve received this suggestion from a couple of other users, too, and so we are thinking hard about how we could add it to Storium without making things difficult to use and understand. It’s high on our list so please stay tuned.
Thanks for the feedback!

We are going to try out something related to these suggestions, probably in the timeframe of Gamma. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I know this is planned, but I just want to second this as something that's needed. For accessibility reasons I have players who largely follow on their emails until it's time to post, and it's a pain for them to have to go to the site just to see the narrator's posts (and I post a lot).
